Two things to keep in mid when shopping here are that it’s not a hipster craft beer hut and as other reviews have noted, the Asian couple running the joint are rude. Okay, everyone clear on this? The good? Decent prices on items you could likely get at a grocery store, with the convenience of being in one quick spot. Southside is where you go when you have guests coming over and you need liquor quickly. It would hell of they stayed open later, and it would be great if they stopped carrying so much Coors and Budweiser, but that’s what sells to the majority of their customers, so I just deal with it. It’s better than a 7 – 11 and their mixer selection is great.

I wouldn’t call this place a craftbeer store at all. I walked in and out within 1 minute. Dont waste your time.

This place is run down, the craft beer selection on the shelves is old, and the owners are rude. Heck even the malt liquor selection is sub-par.Just a dump all the way around.

This store’s pretty good. They have a good selection of beer and alcohol that I couldn’t find in some other liquor stores. Their prices are also decent. The owners are chill and gave me some good recommendations for wine and hard liquor.

Great selection of beers, liquors, and wines. I mainly visit Southside Liquor to buy lottery tickets and scratchers. I also like their great selection of beers; they carry beers that you don’t find in most places like Franziskaner, Spaten, Murphy’s, Guinness, to name a few. They also have an extensive selection of liquors and wines. So, here’s the catch… Extremely rude people running the place. I believe they’re the owners, but I am not completely sure. There’s usually an Asian couple behind the register and they are the most unfriendly people in the city; they always look upset or bothered by your mere presence. Someone needs to teach them some Customer Service 101. There’s also a third employee who is super nice and always makes my visit very pleasant. So to wrap things up, if you’re in this neck of the woods and are looking for some cool or rare brew and some lotto tickets, this is the spot, just beware the bad service.
