Strongman Mini Donut

I’ve had these donuts at a couple events now and they are fantastic!
Strongman is the kind of cute marketing and tasty product that you expect to see in more «hip» urban markets — an LA food festival or off a San Diego food truck. It makes me that much more grateful that they have set up in Bakersfield!
Since Strongman is really a catering company, I haven’t had a chance to try all of their flavors — just the classics (powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar) and a couple specialties served at various festivals (pumpkin spice and maple bacon). All have been served up fresh and make a perfect sweet treat!
I can’t speak to their catering, but am waiting for an event that we can use them for. I’ll update my review when that happens. As for the staff, the lovely ladies of Strongman are always friendly and upbeat — almost as sweet as the donuts!
Do yourself a favor and seek out these tasty treats!

Just learned about this awesome deliciousness while at the Celtic Music Festival.
Hot fresh donuts? It doesn’t get much better than that! They literally make them as you order. The smell is enough to send you into a diabetic coma. Sweet wonderful donut smells.

With a variety of flavors, and awesome seasonal specialties (Apple Cider Donuts — whaaat!?) this little donut stand is a welcome addition to the Bakersfield food scene.
Why Strongman? Maybe because that’s what it would take to pry me away from these mini donuts.
