Not sure why the low ratings from others. Quickest and most professional lender I have dealt with. Did a refinance with quick closing, constant communication, and lowered my monthly payment while shortening my loan term and pulled cash out also. Ask for Art Mikhelson as he handled my loan and was amazing. I recommend him to family and friends without hesitation.

I’m still stunned by the low rating and have to wonder if this business is being confused with another. Allied has very high marks on Lending Tree for good reason! Art Mikhelson from Allied once again provided stellar customer service! I worked with Art to refinance in order to take advantage of the surprisingly low mortgage rates. Initially in a ⁵⁄₁ ARM, I wanted to secure a 30 year fixed. Boy am I glad I did! Art was able to lock-​in a staggeringly low 3.375% rate. I couldn’t be happier. I’m convinced that he must never sleep, as Art ALWAYS responds to my emails in record time. If you are looking for an effective, efficient and courteous loan expert then look no further. I will definitely recommend Art Mikhelson from Allied to anyone considering a new home purchase or refinance.

Unlike another company with a similar name (this could be where the confusion is coming from) Allied Mortgage Group — especially our «go to» contact, Brian McCarty, is the best mortgage company I’ve dealt with in my 30+ years as Realtor. Deals do not fail, everyone is kept in the loop and problems (when they surface) are handled with prompt professionialism. Hi can highly recommend Allied Mortgage Group, Inc (not the other one).

If I could give Allied zero stars I would. They delayed settlement 4 times for my Sellers and we nearly lost the home we were trying to purchase on the other end. There is not enough space to describe all that went wrong but the important points were the lack of communication, lack of care, lack of knowledge, and utter disregard for the people’s lives who were involved. The VP of Allied was just about as useless as the rep and the Owner/​Pres didn’t even bother to respond to multiple pleas of desperation from 6 different people involved in the transaction. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Our story is the same as Mel H.‘s however after two extensions and Allied requesting a third 30 day extension, it was rejected by the seller and we lost the house. We dealt with four different people at this company, and one was fired in the middle of our loan being processed. We were told something different by each person and all of them talked bad about the other. No one what was actually going on and instead of telling us they didn’t know they would lie and tell us we should expect our file to be out of underwriting in two days, then come to find out they never even sent it to the underwriters. One processor called us, said our file was out and we once they tied up a few backend items we would have the loan closed in three days. Not even ten minutes later we get a call from someone else that said there is no way they were closing the loan because they never requested our appraisal to be transferred from our previous lender and there was not enough time to order a new one. We were working with a different lender in the beginning and switched to Allied they promised they would close this loan in days. Nothing they told us was the truth, they lied to us from the beginning and we lost a lot of money and the house we worked so hard to get.
Do not waste your time!

I don’t think there are enough derogatory words in the world to describe this group.
They said they could do our mortgage in 45 days and ending up pushing back our settlement 2 times which would have caused us major fines if we didn’t get a lawyer involved. They made promised they couldn’t keep. They didn’t tell us they weren’t taking us on directly but selling us over to Bank Of America and just doing the paperwork for them.
Our broker trash talked us to our Realtor while were here sitting there listening on speaker phone. We had to call his office and follow up a million times to get anything done.
In the end we had 3 settlements and an extra few grand we needed to come up with over what they promised.
Don’t use these people.
