I dropped off about 6 shirts for alternation. I wanted to make them a «slim» look. The guy was very nice and smiling(chatty), but the lady looked sully. She didn’t look approachable at all. She took a measurement of one shirt, and I asked her the rest shirt to have the same size. Well, when I got my shirts, only 2 shirts were altered correctly. The rest still looked puffy. I didn’t go back to complain, but I will probably not use the place for alternation, unless I took one item at a time. It was $ 15 per alternation.

No not the buttons, not my leather buttons… I dropped off a really expensive coat to be cleaned. The lady told me she would take care of everything and charged me about $ 17. Kind of expensive, but it was the nearest cleaner to my house. I came back on a Friday even though she was supposed to call me on Wednesday. The buttons were completely ruined, the outer plastic/leather coating completely melted off exposing the cardboard. She told me it had melted. No really?! She proceeded to tell my why it was that way, but all I wanted to know was how she was going to fix it. She said she was going to buy new similar buttons and sew them for $ 25. ISSHENUTS?! So I’m supposed to pay her more than the actual value of the botched cleaning job to fix my coat?! I told her forget it, gave her the money and stormed out. She was completely unapologetic. Save yourself some grief and don’t go here. If you have to just give ‘em something really simple. Coats and jackets are too complicated for them.

Odor free since half past three. Cleaner than dirty since three thirty. But seriously, Harvard Cleaners got my jacket super super clean. I’m not sure how or why or when my jacket obtained its horrid smell, but I’m beyond happy it’s gone. I was about two garments about from tossing it, and one garment away from tossing my roommate. My jacket started getting this weird mildew-y, onion-y, BO type smell, so I washed it. And I washed it again. Then I sprayed some febreeze anti-odor suff on it. Then, for whatever culinary miracle, my roommate’s now-thrown-out, crockpotted chili smells crept up the stairs of my apartment and into every fiber of my jacket. It got to the point where I’d rather brave the cold than wear that article of clothing more deadly than a smallpox blanket(sorry, too far). I’ve never actually been to a dry cleaner before. There seem to be more than enough in the area, and I figure they’re all the same. But realistically, anyone that can get a smell, so bad it baffles my mother with over 40 years of laundering experience, out of my jacket deserves a pat on the back. And a 4-star review. And perhaps a bowl of chili. No onions, of course.

Dropped off an expensive suit here to be cleaned When I walked in I was immediately overcome with a weird smell. Not exactly sure what it is… I was greeted immediately and was able to drop off my suit rapidly. I was not required to pay at the time of drop off and I received a ticket to claim my suit in the future. I dropped it off on a Thurs and I was told it would be ready by Saturday. I was not able to pick it up on Saturday so I cannot comment if it was ready by then. I picked up my suit the following week and was initially pleased with the result. I recently wore the suit again and I placed my hand in my pocket to find a tissue. :( I am sure that the tissue was mine but I had hoped the the cleaner would have gone through the pockets to ensure that they were empty. Too much to ask? I’m not sure… Other than the tissue incident I am satisfied. Given the convenient location of this cleaners, I will likely visit here again.

I cannot recommend this place anymore. We have used it several times and are no longer going back. Unfortunately, they ruined a jacket of mine, after I asked them to make sure they put foil around the buttons. The man acknowledged me and I left. When I picked up my jacket, it was ruined because he forgot to use foil on all of my buttons, so the leather bled. I asked about this and at first they denied it – they did admit damage but were not going to do anything about it. I also had shirts that I asked them to note for stains and they nodded but never did anything to note the stain on the shirt(like tape). There are so many cleaners to choose from it is best to skip this one and head to the one down the street.
