Jimmy John’s

I tried their version of an Italian hoagie a few weeks ago. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Everything about this hoagie was wrong from type of bread to the way the guy assembled the hoagie. This is clearly some random chain that think they know how to make of Philly style hoagie. Can’t wait til Fresh Grocer opens. Now they know how to make a hoagie.

I want to like Jimmy John’s, I really do. But, every time I come to one of these I am unimpressed. I don’t know what is, but it just doesn’t do it for me. The sandwiches, are good but not great, and far from the best. I will say the bread tastes very fresh. But, I am underwhelmed with their lack of choices, I don’t understand how you can call yourself a sandwich place and only offer one type of cheese and one type of bread. Even Wawa gives you more options than that! I will note their positives. They really are fast and the customer service seems good. They also offer free delivery which is a definite plus.

Always great delivery service. Drivers are always courteous and polite. Great food great prices. Beats out other places hands down.

Just wanted to update everyone on my latest experience. I’m a firm believer that you can’t hold someone responsible for their failings and not give them an opportunity to fix them. Well in this case, Jimmy John’s has taken a step in the right direction. I received a call from the franchise owner Marc G. and we spoke today & discussed the issues I voiced about my service over the last month & we agreed that we both benefit from the feedback and I will continue to keep him updated.
What I find most refreshing about our discussion was his sincere desire to provide me & all his customers for that matter, with great service at a fair price. I really appreciate that Marc actually took the time to listen to my concerns and wasn’t just giving me lip service. He also treated me to lunch & personally delivered it himself. Now I don’t expect to get my order delivered by Marc every time I order but I know I’m not wrong in expecting his employees to have that same commitment to customer service. Marc has assured me that he will reinforce with this employees that they get the order right the first time & I’m going to hold him to that.
My sandwich, #9 Italian Night Club was perfect and delivered exactly as I ordered, in quick time. Let’s hope that the quality standards will continue to be as Marc assured me, to his & my expectations. I will update this review again after a few more orders.

I really like JJ’s the most i like about them is their fresh bread. I love their bread i could eat it all day long. I think that’s what makes JJ different from many other places like Subway. Don’t get me wrong i love Subway i think since this place opened up JJ is in number 1 and Subway number 2. Sorry Subway!

The sandwiches are decent, nothing special, but the service at this location is outstanding. Food is ready in minutes and if there is a line during the lunch rush someone will get your order ahead of time so that by the time you pay the sandwich is almost done. I will come back to this location because of the fast friendly service!

I came here for lunch, the food is good but the music is very load! I would not bring a lunch date here!

Who doesn’t love Fast (when it comes to food anyway)!
As soon as I placed my order it seemed I had the sandwich in hand!
They operate in an assembly line type of fashion.
Plus an 8″ sub for 4.50 grreeeat!
What I wasn’t crazy about (minus 1) was that I asked for avocado spread on my sandwich instead of mayo (which I was charged for) and when I looked at my sandwich it was hard to see that the spread was even there!
FYI: There are not too many extra’s here (as compared to other sandwich joints) such as cookies etc. plus the chips are all Jimmy Johns (which are tasty and I recommend) so if you’re looking for Lays or Doritos you won’t find um here.
All and all though the food was fresh and tasty!

Quality products. Great customer service. However, when ordering on their mobile app it takes a good 30 to 45 minutes for my food to be delivered. That wouldn’t be a problem if I weren’t less than a block away from the location. Same street and all (City Ave.) Kind of frustrating when they pride themselves on «fast delivery.» I even asked the delivery person do they take priority with phone orders over online/​mobile app orders. Of course he said no which made me annoyed.

Jimmy John’s is awesome! I’ve been coming here for a while and realized I never reviewed it after I checked in on Unilocal.Like «Sam R.» I also always get the Beach Club, and I second the fact that the avocado spread is the star! One more thing: you MUST order it on the 7 grain wheat… just trust me, ok?
The Beach club is delicious and really is the only sandwich I’ve ever ordered the 10 or so times I’ve been here. I’ve had random bites of my hubby’s sandwiches and they were pretty tasty, too. My only qualm with Jimmy John’s is the fact that they don’t have sliced pickles to put on the sandwiches… and I am a pickle lover! I can eat them alone and really love having them with my club. I don’t, however, love having to pay an extra $ 1.00 for a whole pickle from the barrel. This strikes me as odd… but obviously not odd enough to keep me away.

I love Jimmy Johns ! I absolutely love the bread its fresh, soft and perfect for the sandwiches that are made here. All the ingredients are very fresh. They make there sandwiches in a rhythmical kind of fashion and they are prepared very fast. I typically order the beach club which has turkey breast, provolone cheese, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, mayo and this avocado spread which totally makes the sandwich. Seriously, if it weren’t for the avocado spread, I probably would be ordering a completely different sandwich! This shop is pretty small but, has a few tables and chairs. Everything is very clean. On my most recent visit I was handed a flyer that said they deliver just one sandwich. Not a bad deal. I will def have to try it, the next time I am feeling lazy !

Exactly the sandwich you’re looking for. Fast preparation, fast/​free delivery, and fairly tasty subs on fresh bread. Glad these guys moved in near my school as I’m already a regular. The regular size sub is a bit small so I’d recommend the bigger ones if you’re hungry.
