Philly is weird. Why they got to separate the beers, wine and grocery store? I’m used to the California grocery stores where I can get all that and then some in one place and not have to waste gas, time, energy driving around to different places just because it’s a different type of alcohol. Anyhow, I digress for why I’m writing this. This place gots the alcohol and there’s a parking lot to park your vehicle. It’s in the middle of nowhere though so unless you’re close to this place or another location, you’re shit out of luck because there’s not another one around for miles. The road to get here is on the«main» street but the side streets can be tricky to navigate as they’re twisty and there’re no street lights so if it’s dark outside and snowy, you might want to skip this place(I understand there are raging alcoholics out there but seriously, think of going to another place instead.) The store itself is fairly large and they got all sorts of wine and liquor in stock. The staff may not be the most helpful(they don’t seem to know their wines) but it’s pretty hard to get lost or not find what you’re looking for unless you’re underaged and totally nervous or you just turned 21 in which case I suggest you learn to drink beer first. Check store hours as they don’t stay open till late(state laws). I don’t know… I wish if they were to divvy up beer, wine and food, I think they should at least put them next to each other. Parking: Lot(just make sure not to be drinking and driving)

A large sad store that has all the charm of an aircraft hanger with a large and extremely inefficient staff. The store appears have been last updated in 1950 and appears to cater mostly to the students from St. Joe’s; and even though there’s a large staff on hand, typically only one checkout lane is open and if there’s some City Avenue bar/restaurant buying booze you can plan on waiting while the check out clerk wheels all the shopping carts or hand trucks out the door. This is probably the most«Soviet-era» of all the Montco PLCB establishments and much better options can be had in either Narberth or Ardmore.

This is a large, decently well-stocked liquor store, and conveniently located directly on City Line Avenue. The staff are always really friendly. On a recent visit, when I was being super-indecisive, two different staff members helpfully came by at different times to ask if I needed help finding something. They don’t have as huge a wine selection as some of the Premium stores, and I wish they carried the flavored Rain vodkas, but honestly, chances are very good you’ll find what you’re looking for here.
