I came here with my bf the other day and the flavors and toppings were just OK. They didn’t have the mochi topping(my fav). Also, the chocolate wasn’t a sweet chocolate, more like a cocoa chocolate with a pudding-flavored finish. They do have a vegan/GF option though I didn’t try it. Overall, I don’t think we will frequent this place often but it was worth a try. I prefer Whirled Peace in Manayunk(though I hate dealing with the parking situation), and thought Sweet Frogs was better also(though I’m pretty sure the Andorra location is now closed).

There is nothing unique about this place. Way better places to go for fro-yo in the area. Employees were rude and disrespectful, got in front of us in the toppings line, we’re playing music and dancing around the entire time. We sat in the kid size chairs while attempting to eat our fro yo in peace. What a fail. You could not pay me to return here. Not sure how they are still in business.

The man working the counter on a beautiful Sunday afternoon was obviously disappointed to have customers, particularly children who might make a mess. He aggressively cleaned everything we touched twice – really? He had the baseball game playing loudly and turned it up when walked in. My daughter asked if he could change the station, a request that he gladly ignored. Don’t go here for a fun treat – you will be stressed when you leave. The star is for cleanliness – that is all.

The girls behind the counter were sticking their hands in the toppings and eating them, repeatedly. I was actually in awe that they continued doing it as I stared… Not a clue that this wasn’t ok. Even worse was one sitting back and putting her shoes up on the toppings counter.

The only reason we frequent this frozen yogurt place is because it’s the closest one to our home. The flavors are the usual; there’s never anything unique or creative or outside-the-box. Vanilla, strawberry, peanut butter, chocolate, you get the idea. The toppings are also pretty predictable. Fake«Reese’s peanut butter cups»(the tiny ones with barely any peanut butter in them). The liquid syrup toppings are often empty, although after they notice you struggling with trying to get the last drop out of a bottle, someone will refill it for you. What really makes us go the extra mile past Yosl’s and to any other area froyo shop are the rude, cranky, apathetic teenager/tween employees. We’re always kind and smile, and they always have a sour face and can barely look up from their phones to let us pay for our dessert. Or they’re chatting with their friends who stopped by and can barely make eye contact. They really set the mood at this place, and it’s really a downer. All in all a decent froyo shop, nothing mind-blowing. If it’s close by and you don’t feel like going any further, I’d say just stop here. If you’re looking for a memorable, rewarding froyo experience, I’d say wander further into Ardmore/Wynnewood or Philly.

Wow, these fro-yo joints are really popping up everywhere !. So far I have had pretty good experiences at fro-yo shops. This is another cute litte spot with a few parking spots right in back of this place. Everything was clean & shop itself was spotless. There was seating outside as well as inside. There was a great amount of toppings to add to your fro yo creation. Everything was stocked well. I recommend stopping in if your in the area.

What a great place for the Bala area. It’s so nice not having to go to Wynnewood anymore. That place is always a loud and crazy kid zoo. The frozen yogurt selection is good. Condiments and fruit were fresh! The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Sooo happy this is in the neighborhood.

Thursday — May 2, 2013 — 1:30PM Seriously — can anyone really have enough frozen yogurt? This past Monday, the lucky town of Bala Cynwyd happily embraced Yosl’s Frozen Yogurt. Yosl’s(pronounced Yo — shul) is the name of the owner’s deceased father. The storefront is located directly across the ubiquitous Starbucks on busy Montgomery Avenue. The store front is colorful and inviting. Tables and chairs dressed the storefront patio in anticipation of many patrons. Additional tables and chairs were inside. A fabulous array of bright colors greeted customers. 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt and more than 50 toppings are available. The yogurt carries the OU-D Kosher Certified Seal along with the live and active cultures. An employee dutifully offered to explain and assist in the selecting a cup, flavors, operating the yogurt dispensing machine, choosing toppings and payment. I thanked him but, respectfully declined wanting to experience everything like a child with a brand new toy. I selected the smallest cup and dispensed a small sample of Luscious Lemon and Euro Tart yogurts. I dabbed a teaspoon of strawberries and finished with a splash of caramel syrup. The ingredients registered 4.40 oz @ .49 cents per oz. Total — $ 2.29. I highly recommend a visit to Yosl’s frozen Yogurt. Parking is available at the rear of the building and the street. I plan to return and sample many more flavors and toppings during spring and summer weather.
