Love me some Whataburger, but I really don’t like Balcones Heights, especially with all their light ticketing garbage. One of my friends got a ticket after leaving the drive-thru so be extra careful if you are turning onto Fredericksburg. I really wish they’d stop with that nonsense. They have tried those lights in Phoenix too and all they are just extra taxing on people.

This whataburger is consistently Fresh and the service is fantastic. If it’s not right, they will fix it. The music is fantastic too. Not many places anymore are bold enough to play contemporary Christian music, so kudos to this particular location. Thank GOD for being in America!

Drive thru experience was awful. In the past I never had issues. But today I went through just for an Apple cranberry chicken Salad. Apparently the vehicle behind me got a garden salad and after paying I was told to move into a right lane to wait for my order. The girl comes out says. «Garden Salad» I say no Apple and she finishes my sentence says Cranberry she then goes to the other vehicle and realizes it and almost gave me third salad. She comes back to my car with a bag looking the same and sure enough the wrong salad which I already got back to the office and was even more disappointed to find a few hairs in it. Being a visitor fast food is not our only option but I had hoped that they could something basic on their menu right.

I appreciate being able to get the closest thing to a traditional Burger from a fast food joint any time day or night. This hits the old spot and I always bring out of town friends to try a bite

It was decent and the kids meal was huge and a big meal for the price however I am. It a fan of the food much. The chocolate milk and cookie was my highlight :)

OK, perhaps others will tell me why this is a good or even a medium place to go. My experience yesterday — potato/egg taco took 10 minutes and then was lukewarm. Potatoes were, I think, Tatertots. Decided to give them a second chance, for lunch today. Hamburger was cooked to death — a charred little chunk — and the cheese was reminiscent the unpleasant set of cheese-like chemicals served in St. Louis and called provel. Bun was probably fresh last Wednesday. Diet soda was watery though admittedly the portion is huge. But — In a word — yetch. Not trying this again.

You have a pretty good chance of getting decent grub at this location. The customer service aspect varies. I’ve seen all sides of the spectrum here. However, the food is pretty consistently satisfying. Only 3 stars because I’ve had to wait almost 10 minutes in the line at least twice. I wasn’t in a hurry so it’s not a deal breaker by any means, but it was 9 or 10 at night and after like 8 minutes goes by and there’s still 3 cars ahead of you you start to kind of wonder«What’s going on up there?»

A Texas staple! I’ve been eating here since I was a kid! I can remember ordering breakfast tacos on a Saturday morning out with my parents, and burgers for a quick dinner. Not much has changed with Whataburger, except the upgrades to buildings and menus. My family and I will always have a soft spot for Whataburger and it’s always our go to the second we get off the plane to visit Texas. If you look at the burger, you’ll notice, it looks like any other fast food burger, but there’s just something about the taste that makes it stand apart from the rest. They use fresh ingredients, lettuce, onion, tomato, etc. that looks fresh, not fresh then wilted and gross like the other burger joints. The fries are always crispy and hot and their medium drinks can hydrate a small army. Yet another thing that proves that things really ARE bigger in Texas. This location was clean and the employees are always friendly and smiling. It really does go along with the happy experiences we’ve always had here!

I love this place. I recently had the chicken fiesta combo. Loved it! My brother had the double whataburger and said it was one of the best burgers he has ever eaten. The combo came with a 32 oz drink which I thought was too big, but if you got the drink whata-sized, the drink would have been 44 oz. That’s just too big… Hey, but everything is big in Texas. Lol! Anyway, the food is delicious. If you are feeling a little adventurous, try the spicy ketchup. It gave my fries an extra yummy kick.

A San Antonio and Texas classic can’t go wrong even with a grilled chicken sandwich. Plus they have just released spicy ketchup. Stellar get Texas toast!
