The prices are what I’d expect… maybe a little cheaper, but the real thing is that this guy really goes out of his way. He did us a favor that benefited him no more than the purchases we had already made. It was just good old fashioned, «Hey, lemme help you just because I can.» Do any of you remember that «taking care of your neighbor treatment?» I haven’t experienced it in a very long time.
I know what you’re thinking. What did he do for my group and I? I don’t want to mention what he did specifically to avoid people showing up expecting the same treatment. He is just a genuinely helpful and kind man. I miss that sense of pride and altruism that comes with owning a small business. He certainly hasn’t.
