i took my car in on 6÷6÷16 for an oil change and to inspect front driver side brake since its squeaking…” i was asked if i wanted to do my wheel balancing and rotation since i payed for the lifetime on a previous visit” i said sure thinking might as well get it checked.
i was told my front rotors will need replacement soon but was ok for now…
once my car was ready, i drove off with more problems than before i brought it in for.
now my cars steering wheel shakes while driving and steers to the left .my rear driver side brake was making noise .
i was told it needed wheel alignment .so i bring it back the next day on 6÷7÷16.
and left with the nothing resolved
once more i took it back today on 6÷13÷16, i am thinking maybe they missed something,
it happens we are all human. right?..
we test drove it with the tech .nice guy… he seen and heard the noises…
once the car was lifted they went on and showed me that bushings on my suspension looked worn and was recommended to get replaced… to fix the shaking steering wheel issue…
i was refunded the wheel alignment that i was surely recommended that it would fix my steering wheel issue. which was not there before
i drove away with more problems than i did arriving to this shop and i just needed my oil changed…
next time i need and oil change ill just go to Jiffy-​lube.
for any future purchases like tires which i have been buying them there as well,
ill be looking for a new tire shop also…

Always come here to get my car service, great friendly crew! New manager Freddy helped me out a lot to get my car ready in time and find discounts! Location is great, as it’s neat a local shopping center and you can go eat or shop around while you wait for your car. Highly recommended :)

I take my 06 e46 m3 here for my lifetime alignment every oil change and the staff is very accommodating. I bring all my cars here for lifetime alignment. I owned a 98 integra ls and honda s2000. The staff is honest and never forced me to buy but always recommended me to improve my car alignment. Josh the manager is very pleasant and cares a lot about his customers.

Awesome service! Such a nice crew. Takes care of your car like your their own. Great with opinions on taking care of your car. If you have any problem with your car whether it is big or small this is a must go to place to get it fixed! I didn’t expect my services to be so cheap, and they have coupons for maintenance services. Head to firestone asap!

I have come to this Firestone since 2013 and every time it’s always fast service or tons of coupons/​discounts… Always the best recommendations for car as well and no pressure to do the services so it never feels like a sale!

Came in on today to have new tires put on my Honda Accord and the service I received was great! The guys did a great job quickly and efficiently! Very knowledgable and great customer service!

I’d like to rate it at zero stars, considering I didn’t actually receive any services, but I guess this will have to do. Brought my car in for an oil change at 10:30. When it got to being 2:20, I decided the failure to call and tell me my car was ready was simply an oversight and I went back to the shop to see if it was ready. Turns out that after nearly four hours, my vehicle hadn’t even made it into the garage. When I pointed this out to the cashier who had originally helped me, he said he had quoted me 3:00pm (he didn’t). You’re telling me that it takes almost four hours for my turn to come up, but it’s a thirty minute job? The math didn’t add up, so I asked for my keys and left. I’ll stick to the independent mechanic. At least he can stick to a schedule.

this place by far has been gotten so bad that i wouldn’t give them a star but i don’t have that option to select from :(we’ve been coming to this firestone only for over 25 years or more but now i’m going to the one in west covina because the service has been unsatisfactory/​unacceptable for the last 6 or more. i decided to give it more than a handful of chances to make a difference, so that’s why i continued to go to the baldwin park location, but the last couple times i was having issues with my rims and tires so i figured since a had the lifetime warranty on the tires that i would get them aligned, balanced and rotated when i had issues but they never even did any of the regular maintenance/​safety checks on the new tire installed. i drove off and my car was wiggling and bouncing like i had an hydraulic system in it. i returned back the next day and the manager «josh» attended to me and he said that that my rims are in such bad shape that they cant do anything more for my car to ride smooth. so i left very disappointed that I paid $ 300.00 for NEW TIRE and come to find out that it wouldn’t fix the issue that i originally had. I was better off keeping the old tire and using it till the threads came apart. why wouldn’t they have advised me that it wouldn’t fix the issue before i spent the $ 300.00 on a new tire. so i left very mad, sad and all kinds off emotions and took it down to local mom and pop shop and they said that all that needed to be done was balancing and grant it that i know that my rims aren’t in perfect condition so that made me feel a lil better, so from there we went to the firestone in west covina and they attended to me right away and was very considerate of my concerns. they checked the history of my car on the system and they said that they would do their best to get it as smooth as possible. they asked of i can leave my car over night and i was okay with it since i couldn’t drive it anyways. they advised me that they would give me a call at noon the next day and i got the call at 8am that my care was ready for pick up. they even gave me a print out on what tires were off on balancing and which tires got rotated. mind you that they didn’t even know that i was having issue with the firestone in baldwin park. i didn’t want to mentioned anything when i dropped it off cause i didn’t feel like i had to express any of my concerns to them about the other location and i didn’t want to be treated any different from a regular walk in customer. besides that i wanted to know if they can do anything different from what the baldwin park location did. and guess what i’m so glad that i went to the west covina location cause they are so much nicer and efficient with their work. i’ve been back 2 twice now for different issues they haven’t failed me yet. they really care about their customers safety and concerns that they have like any other shops they do recommendations but i don’t every feel pressured to pay for something if it doesn’t call an urgency to the service. i know that West Covina isn’t as close to Baldwin Park from where i live but it is so worth the drive. i like that they are professional in all aspects. Thank you WEST COVINA Firestone for making sure that I’m always safe with driving my car.

They did their job adequately. Took forever. Nothing special

Worst place to go to. Took my car to have the oil changed and get the tires rotated. Took my car around 10 o’clock and they said it would be ready by 3. When I called they were not yet done and said it would be another couple of hours. It took around 6 hours to have my oil changed and tires rotated with no alignment (which I had requested earlier in the day). Not going here again. Terrible customer service. Go at your own risk.

Came in one day because my tire pressure indicator was on and the mechanics fixed the pressure in my tires for free. Came in again a couple of days later because the alert came on again. The mechanics here are really friendly and when I couldn’t explain what was going on with my car too well, they didn’t make me feel bad and tried their best to just go along with whatever I was saying. My tires were fixed and I left knowing that I’ll definitely be back here again.

We made appointment for last saturday morning at 7 am. We got there a little after 7. We told the guy the problem. He said we would have to wait for several hours to have service because they are short staffs. We had rear hub changed in the La Puente, Ca location yet they could not solved the problem so we decided to take to this location. The mechanic check it out and told us they found a diffrent problem. They supposed to check the work from La Puente location and resolved that. At La Puente location we paid over $ 300. We paid again at this location for wheel cylinder $ 95.98, wheel cylinder labor $ 88 which is the same problem. so we said ok.
At 10:30 comes we asked them so what’s going on with our car. They said it will be done by 11:30. We waited. 11:30 came not done. By 1:30 finally they said it’s done. They didn’t fixed shit. The problem still there. It gets worst everytime i brake, it’s making this loud horrific noise. I wish i could post the recording of the noise and you would be worry & scare. Especially when i am on the freeway and it’s traffic i have to brake & stop, brake & stop.
We are beyond pissed off spending 6 ½ hours waiting. I don’t think the technician (08 Fernando) even do anything as he said he did. It’s very inhuman to charged us and not have any service done.

I took my car in just so they can call me 5 hours later to tell me that they couldn’t do anything I came in for. What a waste of time! Worst place to ever go for car service!

Took two cars in the get oil changes, as well as tire rotation and realignment for one of them around 10am. First, they say the first one is done, and the second will be finished in 30 minutes. That was at 2pm. We go back at 430pm because they didn’t call back. Second car not finished, but we overhear them say, «Almost done. All they have to do is drain it.» Forty minutes later, not done yet. I go up to the counter to ask how much longer. They tell us that they haven’t realigned it yet because there are other cars ahead of us. «You haven’t started it?» I ask. «No sir,» the mechanic responds. It’s already 5:30, so I inform him, «Okay, we have to cancel that because we have to go. You guys said this was going to be finished hours ago.» They give us the keys, and we find out they also didn’t do the tire rotation – I think they didn’t hear my wife when she said it. Maybe I won’t be so angry by the fact that they didn’t hear her, but WTF. Why would you say you’re going to be done around 3 and not even do the biggest job until 30 minutes before closing?! If they had been upfront, I probably wouldn’t be so mad, but pretty much what I’be experienced today was a seven hour oil change.
I used to really appreciate these guys. I really liked coming to this location. But the last year, I’ve been disappointed. Profoundly. PROFOUNDLY.
But, I’ll give them this much. They did give a ten dollar discount when I tried to use a coupon. TIP: Their promotions are for one car. So if you get a coupon that says $ 10 off when you spend $ 50, that means $ 50 spent on one car. We had $ 90 worth of services but neither amounted to $ 50 by itself, so they may not honor the coupon if they don’t feel like it. At least they were nice about giving us that discount. But, still, a 7 hour oil change?

I have been a customer at this particular Firestone for about 4 years now and it is about time I step it up to give this place the recognition it deserves. It breaks me to see guys giving misleading ratings to great businesses only because surely they don’t know a damn thing about their own cars. I definitely would NOT want to hop in an Über ride with a driver too blinded to change out his bald tires. Thanks Josh, +cookie points for saving a life.
What really keeps me coming back is their excellent customer service (well that and my lifetime alignment agreement too :). I’m sure its «oh-​hey-​its-​that-​Acura-​guy-​looking-​for-​that-​free-​alignment-​again» sort of deal but hey you know what, they do a damn good job of making me feel like I’m welcomed every damn time I’m there. Josh and his team are about the most down to earth mechanics that I know and I don’t just say that lightly. I work on my car on the side, and I definitely trust these guys with my keys.
Thank you Firestone, I am still glad that I purchased that lifetime alignment some 4 years ago. I’ll definitely be needing alignment pretty soon and I’ll probably be back with some pizza next time.

This is the worst place to be at. 3 hours wait for an oils change.. never coming back again. I had my car service at their Diamond Bar location. .
