I know every laundromat is public and cockroaches are everywhere but I just couldn’t get myself to put my clothes in the washing machine after I looked into the machine and saw Cockroaches crawling around in washing machine. I had to take my clothes and leave!

This is a great spot, always clean and they even have free wifi! They usually have movies playing on the weekends for kids to entertain themselves. The only thing is that there isn’t much seating for customers.

My washing machine decided to break down. I have to do my laundry and it’s a weekend. I won’t be able to call my home warranty to send a technician to the house. What to do? What to do? Imagine my happiness in finding a laundromat close by. It is along Ramona blvd, located in a little strip mall that has a nail salon, flower shop, Mexican restaurant and a lot more. Very convenient location. Although parking can be hectic as it is shared among the many vendors there. The women workers really look after the upkeep of the place. I see them forever sweeping the floors, wiping the tops of the washers, disinfecting after each customer. Quite helpful too. One of them noticed that I didn’t have a cart so she asked if I would want to use one and personally found one for me. Coin changers and vending machines for detergent, bleach or softener and light snacks are available. There are $ 1 washing machines for small loads, medium for $ 3, large $ 4 and jumbo loads for $ 4.50. Dryers are a quarter for 11 minutes. I found out it is better to put in a small load so it’ll dry faster. So for 50 cents you have a little over 20 minutes to dry a small load. If you’re lucky enough to find 4 or more dryers then you’ll be done in 2 hours. I’d rather do my laundry in the comfort of my home but I’ll surely come back to wash my heavy blankets and comforters here. And depending on how fast my home warranty gets to fixing my washer then I’ll still be fighting over the use of the $ 1 washers. Lol
