I’ve came to this salon multiple times before and had good experiences, except this last time. I came in during the week, SUPER empty(the ladies were literally doing each others nails) so I thought oh cool they won’t rush on me and take their time. They had me sitting in the spa chair waiting until they finished their OWN nails. Then the lady who did my finger nails rushed through them. The lady who did my toes spent a really long time on them, which I didn’t mind since I figured my toes will look extra nice until I felt her cutting TOO much skin. When she finally poured alcohol over my toes they burned horribly! I will never go back. For 4 days my poor pinky toe was sore.

Horrible! !!! A waste of time and money. The lady that did my full set not only burned my fingers and cut 3 out of 10 fingers. But she got my skin glued on to the acrylic on EVERYFINGER. I kept showing her that my left hand nails were longer then the right hand and she started huffing and puffing. I asked for square round and got all kinds of shapes. I couldn’t get her name because when I asked she pretended she didn’t understand what I was saying. … I usually go to teeken nails but wasn’t in the mood to drive. .that should of been a sign to go anywhere else . #iwantmymoneyback

ND nails has been my go-to spot for nails for the past couple months & I’m officially addicted. There has never been a particular nail place that I absolutely loved due to the fact I’m always in different cities & tend to try different shops. However, ND nails has made me become a loyal customer due to their skills & service. There has never been a time where I was disappointed with their work. All of the ladies here are very detailed and great at what they do :) My favorite is Andy for my acrylics. He is extremely talented, detail oriented, and the best at what he does :) Along with their talents, their prices are extremely affordable. Many times I add designs or diamonds to my nails and this is the only place where the rhinestones never fall off and remain intact till it’s ready for a fill. So glad to have found a reputable nail salon down the street from my work ! Tip: Bring cash! They no longer accept cards. If you don’t bring cash, there is a ATM in the liquor store or you can purchase something inside and ask for cash back with a $ 1.50 charge: P

My crazy friend was scared to get cut like she has before many times at different nail salons… we came here on a friends recommendation and Kelly did a great job. She didn’t cut here and she really liked her glam nails.(Gel manicure)

So I finally decided to write a review on this place just in case management actually cares about retaining customers. Since this place has opened I have been going, even recommended and taken friends and family, although I don’t get enough spare time to pamper myself I remained a loyal customer only going here… in the beginning their pedicures were always A+…full sets were solid 8⁄10 and their service was friendly. As time has passed they have become like every other nail shop, long waiting time, declining good customer service and poor work. It’s a shame because those are the things I thought made this place different. My last straw was recently when I went for gel mani/pedi. I took my friend as well. I waited 20 mins more than her(she got full set, gel on acrylics and toes with regular pedi spa) We were short on time so I decided for this time get the regular spa pedicure(first option) on their pedi menu. This seemed to be a problem for the nail tech. We continued, she offered gel on the toes, I declined. Once again it seemed to cause a problem for her. I explained I only wanted gel on my hands. Proceeding the pedi, I told her to not cut the nail along my toe because I had just taken it out at home on my big toe… she ignored my request and cut diagonally along the side of my toe nail and began pulling it down! I jumped/flinched in pain trying to be «brave» and I told her she didn’t need to do that and she finished the job. My toe was throbbing. I didn’t have an ingrown nail fyi… i know how to take them out and had done so already, I’m assuming she was trying to further shape my nail but damn… they should listen to customers requests. Massage: one of the reasons I loved this place, became the reason I felt frustrated. The nail tech literally got lotion and slid her hand up and down one time… and that was the«massage» Polish: she did a good job applying and cleaning edges and minor mistakes. Mani:the reason i gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Very good mani, cleaning up cuticle and applying gel polish. Once again skipping the hand massage though. Once again I’m on the search for a new nail place… my throbbing toe which doesn’t let me comfortably sleep at night, will greatly appreciate me not going back. And fyi… I still left a fat tip as my parting gift, they probably think they did an excellent job but I’m ever going back again.

I live in San Diego but I was in the area and really needed to get my nails done for an event this weekend. I am SO glad I found this place! Unlike a lot of nail salons, Andy was honest about how long the wait would be and had me come back in a half hour(so I was able to run a couple of errands instead of sitting around). The salon is clean, and they were very professional, not talking to each other the whole time making you wonder if they’re talking about you. Andy did an acrylic set for me, and I was very surprised at how fast and carefully he applied the nails. He was quick, yet very skilled. A lot of nail places just throw them on like whatever, since they’ll look decent enough with polish, but Andy really crafted these with care. The original color I picked out wasn’t quite what I thought it would be, and instead of getting frustrated or annoyed he just promptly grabbed the colors and helped me pick out the perfect color. All and all, it was a very nice experience, better than any I’ve had here in San Diego. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area, and highly recommend this place to anyone in the LA area! Thanks Andy! :)

I came here approximately 3 weeks prior for a pedicure. All was well and the the lady who attended to me was quite nice. Yesterday was a totally different and horrific experience; –My feet were soaking in the water for some 20 mins before I was attended to. –The lady who did my pedicure cut me on my big toe, I flinched and she said nothing. Not the slightest sorry of an apology. It bled. She did nothing, just continued with the pedicure. I asked her to apply some alcohol but she applied something else as it didn’t have the same stinging effect as alcohol. After I was done and sat at the uv light to dry my nails(now I’m thinking maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to expose my broken skin to the uv light) I proceeded to pay, inquired for the manager in regards to the cut I sustained and that is when I noticed it was still bleeding. I showed the lady and she got a cotton ball to wipe it. Called the manager, who called the lady who cut me to come clean it up. That was the only time she apologized because the manager was present. One of my biggest fears has always been getting cut during a pedicure with a tool that has been used on numerous people whose health history I do not know. And how can I trust that the tool was properly sanitized? What if some one who they cut before me had HIV? –I forgot my shoes there so let’s see if I’m able to retrieve them or they would’ve magically disappeared. Scarred!

I came here in hopes to find a permanent nail spot after reading good reviews. I have tried several places before coming here and needless to say, they didn’t work out. But the last place, especially did a horrible job and I was doubtful as to how much difference could be made. I walked in around 6pm and was greeted upon entering, which was nice since alot of places won’t even acknowledge you. I waited only about 10 min and was seated for a gel spa pedi and a gel mani. A very nice lady(I forgot to ask her name) did my pedi while the owner, Andy, did my mani. I was most concerned with how thin my nails were becoming from consistent gel mani and over filing, so I asked Andy not to file any more of my nails if possible. Let me just say, countless places I have been to, every single manicurist has filed off more than I deem safe regardless of my requests. Andy managed to just take off the old gel mani without even touching my nails! He corrected the lumpy, thick and uneven shape with absolutely no damage and they look fantastic. I did get burnt during callous removal when the lady began using a nail file driller on my foot, but it was only a minor bump. They were so apologetic and I kind of felt bad for letting out a Unilocal out of shock/pain(no pun intended). The lady that did my pedi(sorry for not getting her name, this redundancy is killing me!) paid so much attention to every detail like I have never experienced. I was there for quite some time but it was worth every second and I left feeling very satisfied. With the basic spa gel pedi($ 21.99), gel mani with cuticle clean up and designs on two fingers with the $ 2 credit card fee, the total came out to $ 63 and I paid $ 80 out the door. I know, it’s on s little pricey side but mind you, I went extra on some things and for the quality of service and work, I don’t mind paying that much every 2 – 3 weeks. I feel almost nervous for writing this review that I might jinx my luck for finding this place! But I feel it’s only fair to acknowledge a worthy business as other reviews on Unilocal help me tremendously. Anyway, I will definitely be going back!

Came here on a Monday afternoon to kill time between work. The ladies that work here are really nice. I got gel nails and it only cost $ 20! The manicurist was really careful and slow while doing my nails, but not slow in a bad way. I could tell she knew what she was doing, she just wanted to make sure my nails were perfect with no mistakes. Sure enough, they turned out great, I have no complaints. I was in and out within 35 minutes :) I didnt see a price list in their shop though, which I kind of wish they did so I know what the prices are for the next time I want to get my nails done. The place looks nice as well, they have pedicure spa chairs on both sides of the store and all the manicure tables are in the middle. It’s a pretty big nail place in my opinion. Everything looked clean & nice so dont worry! They charge $ 2 extra for credit card so bring some cash!
