Thank you Richard L for an super fun filled evening with fellow Unilocalers! It’s always a Fantastic time no matter what we did. Peppers filled the air as we we toured inside the making of siracha. Guilty I imagine a way to lay and surround myself with all the cases and bottles. Samples. Are. So. So. Good.

Why didn’t someone tell me Richard created a check-in? ha ha I knew about the tour and have been wanting to come to this tour for a while. The plan was to meet Santi here with Nadine and a few others. We will be driving up from San Diego and catching the last possible tour. Seeing everyone check-in means there are some early arrivals and many Unilocalers with reservations on the same day. Then come to find out it was a huge UYE for the tour. The best thing besides getting free stuff is seeing everyone like it was a reunion again. Fun times on a really warm day with a breeze. After walking through the chili grinding and processing area, I don’t smell it anywhere else in the factory. So I really don’t know what the neighbors are complaining about. I cannot wait to come for the tour again. Let’s all go!

Surprise!!! What am I doing here!!! Oops my bad for crashing the UYE :) So one of my closest Unilocal friends, Auntie Nadine, was visiting from Hawaii and so I somewhat tagged along to her plans. She came with Tim C., Tiffany C. and Alana M. Tim had made the reservation for their little group so I just crashed onto his reservation. Thanks Tim! What a free loader! :P I didn’t even realize it was Richard L’s event until I got there! Thanks for planning Richard! Sorry I super crashed your event :) Also glad to run into Annee T. since I haven’t seen her in so long! She saved me from the spicy snacks I couldn’t handle. And as usual it was great meeting new Unilocal people as well. Apparently Unilocal + Peeps = Yeeps! LOL We «yeeps» sure like taking a million pictures of everything. Overall a fun and successful event! Love you guys! Look at my review on the Huy Fong Foods for a more tour-oriented review ;)

One of the most popular local 626 tour that many Unilocalers seem to enjoy going is no doubt the Huy Fong Food Siracha Tour. I been here numbers of time, and I always try to bring different group of Unilocalers. This time me and Tim C bring total 12 Unilocalers to this tour. Everyone seem to had great time despite is like 105 degree outdoor. The tour is short but you get to see the whole process how the famous rooster siracha sace been made from scratch to finish product. Then you get to go samples and get your free swags ! This remind me a lot of like Unilocal events when you get swags and food tasting ! This is why is so popular among Unilocalers and something I highly recommend to any Unilocaler who like the sauce to goes to the tour a least once. We had Unilocaler as far as Phoenix and Hawaii come to the tour.

Thanks to Richard L. for organizing this interesting and educational event! During this free, self-guided tour of Huy Fong Foods, Inc. in Irwindale, We saw truck loads of fresh chilis roll onto the conveyor belt. We saw how they make the plastic bottles here, fill them, and box them! Some of us purchased cool items from the Gift Shop. Met up with lots of familiar and friendly faces! It was amusing to see everyone wearing the special hair net! LOL! At the end, we got a free tumbler, Sriracha ice cream cone, t-shirt, and a 9 oz. bottle of «Rooster Sauce»! Mahalo for this very unique experience! If you would like a tour, just sign up online and register. There’s free parking and a convenient restroom. It’s fun and beneficial!
