Just had the worst customer service experience of my life dealing with this business. I know that salesmen«embellish the truth» to make a sale, but the salesman at Sleepy’s outright lied when he said our Tempurpedic king sized mattress would«fold in quarters» to fit in our house– even though we bought it in the winter. Sleepy’s attempted to deliver our mattress 3 times. On the first attempt they took the mattress out of the cardboard box and plastic and ruined it trying to squeeze it in through our basement door, and one of the delivery men complained when I said it needed to go upstairs, to our bedroom. «It’s not staying down here? Aw man, come on…». They told me there was no way we would be able to fit a king sized mattress in our house, and that the salesman lied to us when he said it could be folded. They told me it’s winter, no way, and after trying to tie our expensive mattress with dirty ropes from my garage they finally gave up and slid it back down my driveway after I refused to sign for a dirty mattress. I took off a day of work for nothing. Second attempt was scheduled on a Saturday. When my husband called to check on the delivery Sleepy’s customer service said«Oh, you’re not scheduled. You were scheduled but you’re not now. I can reschedule you for next Wednesday?» We were livid. Was this a joke? Due to the weather a few more deliveries were re-scheduled, but since Sleepy’s does not control the weather we understood– we didn’t want to take any chances after the first delivery«experience» and wanted to make sure the elements would not ruin our new mattress on its way into our house. Third attempt– we got our mattress! Weeks after we bought it and several angry calls later, our mattress actually made it into our bedroom. The delivery men said that the salesman«definitely lied» when he said this mattress could«fold in quarters”– even in the summer there was no way that was possible. We were happy with this delivery(and thrilled to not have to put our old bed back together for the third time) but still can’t believe what a horrible experience we had with this company. I get angry every time I hear that«Trust Sleepy’s…» jingle now– don’t «trust Sleepy’s”– GOELSEWHERE! We will never buy anything from this company again.
