Came here after a long day of fishing and wanted a nice meal. Ordered and got my salad with burnt croutons right away. I got the steak along with a side salad and redskin potatoes. The other people in my group got steaks and fries or redskins. When our food arrived, all the steaks were under cooked and extremely fatty, which the fat took up half the steak. We had to ask if they could bring out our fries about 20 minutes after we got our rare, fatty steaks. The fries were cold. Within the last 5 minutes of our meal, I asked them to bring out our redskins. When I got them, the were Luke warm on the outside, but cold on the inside. A fare tip to others: ask if you want a medium steak, ask for a medium well, etc.

My girlfriend and I had breakfast here. Omelette are absolutely enormous. There’s got to be 6 – 8 eggs per omelette, you could definitely share one between two, or even three people. Hash browns were great. They were seasoned, which made my girlfriend and I do a double take, but it was great. Strangely enough, the wheat toast stood out. They were nice thick slices with great flavor and perfectly toasted with just enough butter.

Great place to stop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This was our first time here for breakfast. Homemade corned beef hash was outstanding. Thick yummy rye toast and all the usual breakfast fare. If you’re there for lunch try the perch sandwich. Pretty view on the lake. Friendly service. Typical local décor. Lean back and enjoy.
