Jay Kaplan, MD

I have been coming to Dr. Jay Kaplan for many years now– since the late 1980s when my son was born. Dr. Kaplan is still a one-​doctor practice, which is extremely rare in this day and age. Perhaps even more unusual is that most of his administrative staff has remained the same throughout the years. He is extremely patient and kind, and takes his time to speak with you after your appointment. Very few doctors in the world today are like Dr. Kaplan, which is probably why so many of his patients return year after year– some of them (like me) even make the trip to his office despite having moved out of the area.
BTW– keep in mind that his office has moved from its original location! He is now on Atlantic Avenue in Baldwin, not far from where his longtime office used to be off of Sunrise Highway. I mention this because I went to his old office location before realizing my mistake! He doesn’t have a website, so I imagine that a lot of people make this mistake too. Oh well, I’ll still be returning next year!
