Ordered shrimp tacos and a side of veggies. It was super satisfying, definitely ordering from here more often :)

I was expecting lame Taco Bell like tacos but boy was I wrong. I don’t understand how this place is not poppin. Quesadillas are amazing. The steak is moist and flavorful. Thumbs up, Taco Hut. I’ll be back soon :)

Okay, my first thoughts when my husband and I walked in, it is run by Asians. Not truly authentic but we gave it a try anyway and we are glad we did! I had 2 beef tacos and a side of guacamole and my husband had a chicken jack cheese Quesadilla with nachos and cheese. We were very satisfied with our orders and will be visiting again! You just may have earned a regular customer!

Owned & operated by Cantonese. Spanish pronunciation on the menu (kay-​sa-​dee-​ya). Generic/​bland/​probably healthy. Tortillas (tor-​tee-​yas) kissing cousin to pita. I’m from San Francisco (san-​fran-​siss-​coh)… my search continues.

Had take out and it was fast delivery. Ordered the shrimp quesadilla and it was delicious. Also tried the chicken nachos and that was better than I expected. Will order from here again.

The majority of these reviews are spot-​on. This is Tex-​Mex made by Asians. Do not come here expecting authentic Mexican cuisine (or any place named similarly, for that matter). Do, however, come here expecting to eat your fill and be generally pleased by the flavor.
PROS — The prices are relatively low and the food is quick. If you’re looking for something a step or two above Taco Bell with the same efficiency, this is the place I would recommend. I also really enjoy that they have Jarrito’s soda (for those who don’t know — it is a natural sugar soda, so the flavor is far more pleasing than most American carbonated drinks). If you are ordering delivery, the food comes in a favorably timely manner.
CONS — The food is sloppy. And I don’t mean sloppy-​to-​eat, I mean it’s sloppy the moment it’s in front of you. I have only had delivery so far, but the burritos and fajitas are not wrapped, the tortilla is simply folded over the stuffings. This is disappointing when trying to enjoy a hefty burrito.

I got the Guacamole Nachos and a shrimp taco. I didnt like the shrimp taco, but I never had one before and maybe its just not my thing. The nachos were so good. I My boyfriend got the Jack Cheese Chicken and Steak Quesadilla and Grilled Chicken and Steak Combination. He loved it all.
We ordered delivery from this place another time. I shouldnt have ordered the hard tacos because by the time I got mine delivered, they were soggy not crunchy but still good.
The food tasted fresh and was very yummy. One thing I was very disappointed about was when I was there, I saw that they put the food in Styrofoam type containers in the microwave. I dont think you should be putting Styrofoam in the microwave. Because that I wont be eating here to often. This is the only reason I didnt give them 4 stars. Its super unhealthy to do that. I hope they stop doing that.

Really great take out. Go in there order food it’s ready quick and fresh and it’s always cheaper then chipotle and more quality then Taco Bell way better then chipotle I feel and less expensive. Very Goood burritos and quesadillas and great tacos. The nachos are all the hoot and packed in with cheese guacamole and jalapeño with chili if you ask extra. It’s Delish. 2 thumbs up.

I’m actually surprised by some of the comments. I thought this was a great place. Very reasonable in price, clean and friendly with tasty food. I ordered the steak with rice and I thought it was delicious!

Pretty good. The price is in the middle. The Long Island yummy taco.
The burritos are smaller than some places which make them manageable.
The taco salad is great.

Absolutely disgusting. Nothing like authentic Mecican food. Food is made by Asians, made me sick eating it. Wouldn’t recommended it.

When I think about Taco Hut, I’m reminded of IKEA furniture. — Easy, cheap and just gets the job done.
Taco Hut, is as you can guess, yet another small tex-​mex joint that serves up cheapo food to satisfy that shrimp burrito or black bean taco craving you are having. I’ve stopped here on my way home from work — and found out that, yeah it’s OK. The chicken meat (and beans in my case) were well seasoned and the tortillas were piping hot and super soft. Staff is a little easily confused but for $ 5.45 I left the store with a full stomach and a smirk on my face.
Clean with plenty of parking.

If you want to feel sick for 2 days, eat here. The tacos had raw chicken, the guacamole tasted like paste, and you’ll be praying to the porcelain gods shortly thereafter.

Just had a delivery… spent $ 30… Not worth it., food was very bland. Guacamole was tasteless. Taco was just ok… I don’t recommend this place unless you have $$ to burn.

this place isn’t too terrible. To be fair, we ordered delivery so it may be a bit better if the food is eaten in-​store.
It’s typical, crappy Tex-​Mex that can satisfy a craving and won’t break the bake. We had chicken quesadillas (def not white meat in case you care), a shrimp soft taco and a steak hard taco. over-​salted and greasy. What more do you expect?

This is a typical Tex-​Mex place run by Asians. There are quite a few on Long Island like this, and in each of these places, the tacos are your standard, greasy fare. It tastes the same, but mmm, it does taste delicious.
The bonus about this place? It’s a super clean establishment, there’s plenty of parking since it’s in a shopping center, and they give you sriracha hot chili sauce to use on your tacos. It’s really good actually! Perfect complement.
If you need a quick bite in the Baldwin area, this place is worth a shot!

My office orders from here once in a while. Truthfully — its really not the «best» mexican food, but it is pretty tasty.
Unfortunately I doubt they use a «good» part of the chicken in their cooking — definitely not lean chicken breast, however again, it is tasty. Yes, at first glance you feel like you’re in a Chinese take-​out place, but they are indeed cooking their take on «Tex-​Mex» cuisine. If you’re hungry, looking for pretty cheap mexican style food and aren’t in the mood to travel to my beloved Chipotle, then give them a try. You won’t be terribly disappointed.

Decent burritos. Fast delivery. Inexpensive. A-​OK by me.

This place isn’t too bad. Tried it out today for the 1^st time. I got the Chicken Burrito, chips and Guac. The Guac looked like its been sitting out for a while. Tasted more like a salsa with guacamole added to it. The Chicken burrito was alright. I would rather spend a few dollars more and stop by a Chipolte.

The flour tortillas are homemade and soft. The Grilled Shrimp Fajitas, Grilled steak soft taco and a chili taco were all very tasty. Wouldn’t write home about the guacamole, but I would def be back!
