The Bikery: great for bikeheads, and newbies too!
A few years ago, a friend and I decided to start biking to work. To do it, we were looking for bikes that were fast, but tough enough to put up with the bumps and grit of Syracuse roads. We went to every bike shop in town, and we ended up finding that The Bikery had the bikes we wanted (thanks to their wide selection), at the best price.
The thing I like most about the shop is their staff. They’re all big into cycling, but approachable and easy to talk to. They made my options easy to understand, and didn’t try to oversell me on a bike that’s more aggressive than what I was looking for.
Since I bought my bike there, I’ve been back several times: tune-​ups, accessories, and I took my girlfriend to buy her new bike.
If you’re just starting out, I highly recommend The Bikery! They’ll steer you in the right direction, sending you happily pedaling home with a perfect two-​wheeled friend.

Second time there and they just can’t seem to answer questions about mountain or fat bikes. Didn’t try to find someone that could either.

I have been an off and on customer of the bakery for many tears. I have purchased a couple of bikes her and plenty of equipment and repairs.
The service has gotten better over the years.
I like the store but I wish they had a larger selection of bicycles and accessories.
