Best-Hunan Chinese Take Out

Enjoy the food, the service is quick, delivery on time and the people are pleasent. Not to mention ability to understand n speak English ! Every dish I’ve tried tasted good fried scallops under apps are delicious as well

I’m not really writing this review to comment on the quality. It’s Chinese take-​out which in my honest opinion, all tastes about the same. I’m writing this review to comment on the quality of Hunan’s service. I’ve never been so impressed by a delivery restaurant. First, when I gave my address, I merely had to say the numbers and they knew where I was… the street name was superfluous. I know this doesn’t work for every address but… still impressive. Second, they took my order so damn quickly I didn’t even have time to give my phone number, so I called back and they said no problem, caller ID. They delivered in about 40 minutes and even the delivery guy was fast in person. I’ve never dealt with a take out place that was so quick and efficient with their ordering. Took my CC number with no repeat backs as well. I’d normally 5 star a place for having great food but like I said, it’s exactly what you’d expect for Chinese take-​out. I’m giving this place 5 stars for being inexpensive, fast, and efficient. I’ll be getting food here regularly.

This is the most convenient chinese food place near our home. The food is pretty good and the service is quick.
Its what you would expect from Chinese take out and everything weve tried has been great.
We especially love the lunch and dinner combo deals. They give you plenty of food with plenty of options!
The only reason im giving them 4 stars is because they don’t deliver to us even though we are pretty close

On the strength of the positive reviews here, I had high hopes when I tried a couple of takeout dishes. They weren’t exactly awful, but nothing to make me want to come here again. General Tso’s chicken wasn’t mystery meat, and a generous portion, but the bits’ coating was depressingly gooey and chewy, and the taste too bland.
The pieces of meat in the Singapore Chow Mai Fun were recognizable as such (no chicken skin!), but the dish was too dry, and looked, felt and tasted like it had been dredged in the contents of the «flavor pack» from a packet of cheapo ramen noodles. Salt, salt, and more salt. I have a sneaking suspicion that the noodles were also from such packet, but I’ll give the place the benefit of the doubt.
The lady at the counter was friendly and cheerful, and the food, while not great, wasn’t as revolting as from my previous Saratoga-​area tests.
The prices are certainly reasonable for the generous portions, and it’s entirely possible that other dishes on other days might be better, but I don’t think I’ll be making the trip to find out.

We have tried every American Chinese take out place between Malta, Ballston Spa and Milton. While Best-​Hunan is out of the way for us to get take-​out, this is by far the best we’ve had in this area. It’s not about price, as they are all about the same. Rather, it’s about the flavor and freshness — by this alone, Best Hunan is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. We will continue to drive a bit out of the way because they are simply the best.

One of my favorite place in town to grab American Chinese take out. General Tso’s Chicken is on sweet side but addictive. Mongolian Beef is my personal favorite. Egg roll & Cream Cheese was delicious too.

This Chinese food place is really good compared to many other places I’ve been too. They make the food pretty quick too. It is a food place I would recommend anyone to try! Also I always get the General Tso’s chicken (which is very yummy)!!

Been going here since the place opened years ago, fast service, great food, good value.

General Tso’s Chicken and Hunan Style Chicken & Shrimp, both should have been very hot, but were not. The taste was great, just not the HEAT we were expecting. Hot and Sour Soup was not spicy hot either. Maybe next time we’ll ask for extra heat!

This place will satisfy any «WHITEYized“chinese food cravings u might have. Food is made fresh and fast with good sized portions for the cheap price. Be weary of «Gut Bombs» though while eating and drinking water all of a sudden msg or salt or who knows will creep up on you and send you into a fetal positioned, sausage sized fingers food coma.

Nice and fresh food, quite cheap. We dropped by on our trip to lake George, courtesy GPS and were pleasantly surprised. Just hope it had better seating area.

Definitely the #1 take out in the area. Everything is fresh and the Sesame Chicken is the best I’ve ever had. The portions are large and a good value for the money you spend.

YES. A GOOD CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANT!
We literally just moved here today, and are sitting in an empty apartment waiting for the movers to bring our stuff sometime between now and January 6 (love those military moves!)
We had no idea what to eat around here since we’re in the middle of nowhere and used Unilocal as our guide. Thank god we did! I find it extremely hard to find good chinese food and actually felt very spoiled by our yummy selection in Midland, MI.
I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo and I got rice, 2 crab meat and cheese and a giant egg roll I could barely fit my mouth around, all for about 7.50. Plus, they deliver if you live within 5 miles. I met the criteria and got my yummy, hot chinese food delivered right to my door about 30 minutes later.
My tummy is happy, my wallet is full, and they have a loyal customer for the next 6 months. :D

I just moved to Saratoga Springs and was dying for some Chinese food. Found Best-​Hunan on Unilocal,and what can I say… Unilocal came through again. Ordered delivery over the phone, and the food came within 30 minutes. Everything was great. If you’re looking for take out or delivery Chinese, I doubt you can do any better.

Great value for money. The seafood soup is delicious and healthy, with shrimp, scallops and veggies. The quart serving can easily make for two meals.

Great service, great value, great taste. What more can you ask? It’s a huge amount of food for less than $ 10, and the combos come with an egg roll and 2 of the cream cheese wontons. So delicious. So rich. Food is prepared fresh and fast. A great place!

The problem with Americanized Chinese food restaurants is that you can never judge them based on their menu alone, as typically they all look similar, if not exactly the same.
Well, Best Hunan is different from your typical Am-​Chinese takeout. The food is always fresh, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. Now, they don’t get 5 stars, as this isn’t exactly Haut Cuisine, but they are about as good as you can get when dealing with this type of food!
Try the Beef Lo Mein because it is GREAT!
