Speedway

It’s not that much different than Hess before it, except it’s Speedway perks. The gas prices remain very competitive in the Ballston Spa area, and this station is always among those with the best prices in the area. I really didn’t see that many changes in the store, and the men’s room still needs some work.
You might have to be patient at the pumps — when most of them are in use, they’re S-​L-​O-​W (it was the same when it was Hess).

Speedway (rebranded from a Hess Express) is a good place to stop for gas, snacks, rollers, Nathan’s hot dogs, ice cream, drinks, cold beer, newspapers, lottery tickets, and other items (smokes) and to use the facilities. ATM on premises and kerosene is sold here.
Like before, the store itself is spacious, but this location has yet to be updated and remodeled. Other Speedway locations in the region are currently undergoing through renovations.
There are 12 vehicle fueling positions at the pumps. The gas prices here are some of the lowest in the Capital Region (sometimes lower than Vermont gas prices), and also competing with other nearby gas stations in the area. USA Gas at the NY 50/​NY 67 split to the south tends to be a penny a gallon lower than here.
I tend to gas up here more since I can earn points with my Speedy Rewards card and sometimes get rollback pricing on gas (10 cents off per gallon on my recent visit). Speedway is also offering fountain sodas, any size for only 69 cents, which is a great deal. With the Speedy Rewards card, buy 6 drinks get the 7^th drink free.
