I had these guys change the cables on my pristine mountain bike. When I picked it up there was a scratch in the paint that definitely wasn’t there when I brought it in. They also failed to install the end caps on the cables and the cables were cut far too long.
Very shoddy workmanship and quality control. I will never patronize this place again.

Just got another great bike. I have been buying bikes from Mark and his guys for years. After moving to Chicago I decided I needed a «commuter bike.» I called Mark from Chicago, explained what I needed, and as usual they new better than me and went above and beyond and gave me a great deal. Sometimes I feel like I am taking advantage of them since they take such good care of me and charge me very reasonable prices. The bike I got works perfectly for my needs. I went home one weekend and picked it up and brought it back on the train. I am glad I spent my money with Ballwin Bicycles, and will continue to shop here for as long as I am able. Not just a great bike shop, great people who take care of you, and in this economy, that is a luxury most bike shops do not afford.
