I’m amazed that the other review even mentions the age of the nice woman behind the counter… you’re a class act dude. I just moved to town. Was looking for a quiet place to hit a few balls when the kids are occupied. The lady inside was kind, friendly, and helpful. The tees are just fine for practice. A large bucket was $ 10, a good value. I have been there three days in a row and have never seen a train. Some people just like to complain. Go figure.

First things first, I’m not a golfer, but I have been to quite a few nice courses and various driving ranges. I took 2 guests from out of town here, and I am writing this review from the deck of the trailer… Yes trailer. The best way to describe this place would be to compare it to an economy inn motel. No frills, not very well maintained, and has a lady who is older than dirt working behind the counter. Also, some of the«patrons» look like they have a few outstanding warrants. But, it is cheap! If you are looking for a «nice» place to go hit balls, this is not it. If you’re looking to kill time and spend only $ 10, then this will do just fine. Oh, and don’t forget about the train that does laps in the parking lot next door. I think the«conductor» likes to sound the horn just as those hitting are in their back swing.
