I recently had a large item to ship in a hurry. The young woman helping me was nice as I was packing my box myself. Although what made me quite upset was the first shipping amount quote she gave me was almost DOUBLE what it turned out to be. Partially my fault because I should of known it would be more with added the packing paper and box, however she didn’t tell me it would cost so much more. The Assistant Manager who ended up helping me in the end, wasn’t as understanding as I would of liked. As I have worked in customer service for many many years, I would of expected at least an apology and more genuine reply to my shock of such a huge price increase.

This place has evolved from when I was last here and is now even more geared to the self shipper. I had 3 medium sized boxes to ship and had to wait for a few folks to get helped first. There were many people on all the self-copiers and photo printers. I suspect with all the gear there is little to no line. The two gentleman behind the counter were very friendly, patient, and keen on getting what each customer needed right the first time. It was my turn and I stepped up the scale. After sticker shock at FedEx ground charges I was told if my stuff fit in their boxes it would probably have been cheaper. They gave me the choice to take my stuff apart and repack it. There were too many objects and packing materials to have a do-over at this point. Made a mental note about using their supplies next time.
