Maggiemoo’s Creamery

I love their ice cream and the incredible flexibility and choices available.

So much better than Baskin Robbins in my very humble opinion. This is not my favorite ice cream place in St. Louis, but it’s certainly one of the better ones. The selection in flavors, types, and toppings is as solid as any other location, and the prices run the same as everywhere else. It’s a standard ice cream place, and since ice cream is one of God’s most perfect foods, I find myself a fan of Maggiemoo’s.
Basically, this is one of those places that is filled with high school kids working to pay off their used Honda Accords. So, the service is what you would expect. The place can tend to get filled with kids, but again, you expect that at a place like this. After all, this is an ice cream store… not a bar… kids come here and they can get loud.
I usually just pick up my ice cream to go and avoid the fray. That said, I really do enjoy this stuff. It’s creamy, it’s tasty and they have a great mint chip that’s perfect to stuff yourself with on a hot day. (or a cold day if you are truly a devoted ice cream addict).
