PYM Air Duct Cleaning

I highly recommend PYM. Yuri did a fantastic job… very thorough. He showed us what was in our ductwork and I was shocked by the amount of filth. If you haven’t had your ductwork looked at in 7 – 10 years, I would take a peak! He also inspected our humidifier, the filter was extremely moldy. He inspected our air filter system and found it in great shape. Priced well and the service was worth it!

Yuri provided a professional job with professional equipment at a reasonable price — no up charges or extras you hear about from other duct cleaning operations.

I want to echo the other positive reviews on this site. Yuri (owner) and Marquis (associate) were professional, polite, and very careful to protect our hardwood floors and carpets during the cleaning process. Yuri made sure to speak with the installer of our new heater to make sure our heater coils and humidifier were protected during the cleaning. His price was very competitive.

I found PYM on Unilocal to clean our dryer vent in a house we were moving into. When Yuri the owner/​operator arrived in state-​of-​the art truck, I knew he was a professional. We had a new dryer being delivered that was a tight fit, he made several recommendations, then modified the vent which provided a perfect solution.
Being a 30 year old house, I asked what cleaning heater ducts would involve and cost. (never done this before because there are many scammers) His price was fair, and he was back the next day (Saturday) with a helper… they worked hard for 5 hours doing an excellent. Yuri pointed out we had the wrong furnace filter, and he brought out an upgrade kit and the correct filter.
Yuri is a true professional who knows his stuff… I highly recommend his services.

Yuri, the owner, was very thorough with his work and very courteous. The first thing he did before he came in was to put on plastic shoe covers to make sure he didn’t track any dirt in. He made sure all the vents were perfectly cleaned and showed me the difference before he left. I saw all of his good reviews on Angie’s List and couldn’t be happier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to family or friends.

Had PYM out for a duct cleaning. Yuri, the owner, is the one answering phone and doing the work. He had a partner with him. They worked hard, and surely earned their money (very reasonable price). They have a big, nice, professional truck; there was no up sale, no flakiness, no issues. (Like with some duct cleaners)
I moved into an older house, and duct cleaning is a must in such a situation.
These guys are very thorough, and careful not to track dirt and such into your house.
This is who you should call for duct cleaning! I won’t even get into the ‘crud’ and mold they got out of my vents and coils… whew. so worth it.

Our dryer vent was clogged up. I’m completely worthless as a handyman, and I wanted to make sure the job was done right (after all, clogged dryer vents are a fire hazard) so I decided to call in a professional.
I found PYM on another businesses-​rating site, where he has 115 reviews — and literally, every single one is an «A».
Yuri (the owner/​operator) was able to come over within two days and gave me a two-​hour window for when he would arrive. He called me on the way to let me know that he was running a little late — but he still made it within the timeframe he gave me.
He was very conscientious — he and his assistant took their shoes off before entering the house and put covers on over their socks. He laid down plastic guards on all the corners his pipe went around to prevent it from scraping the walls.
Then, he really took his time sucking all the lint out of the dryer and the duct. When he was done, he showed me that he had measured the air flow out of the duct before and after the cleaning, and explained what a good air flow level is, and what I should to do make sure I don’t have to get my dryer vent cleaned out too terribly often.
The total charge was $ 115 — $ 80 for the dryer vent and $ 35 for the dryer. I asked him how much it was to clean out the air ducts in a house, and he said it started at $ 350 for up to 15 vents. That seems reasonable to me.
I’ve never had any ducts professionally cleaned before, so I don’t know if this is typical, but he had a truck that was designed to clean ducts. It had an enormous hose attached to it, and when he turned it on, two bags inflated out of the top of the truck to collect all of the crud he sucked out of the dryer vent. I thought that was kinda cool.
