I stopped by on my way home around 6. Waited maybe 10 mins for takeout but I’m sure on busier nights it could be longer. Craving some fried rice and knew this place had good reviews. Stopped in, SUPERCUTEANDCLEAN! Waitress was so helpful and sweet. I’m assuming he was the owner and cook came out to say hi and thank you with a big smile. Everything together made me feel so welcome. He gave recommendations for next time. Fried Thai rice was DELICIOUS as well the spring rolls. I really wanted the crab radon but next time. Rice was so flavorful. I didn’t need any extra condiments. Spring rolls were crispy and heavenly. Definitely a keeper. Stop by and try them out. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a perfect meal here. Came for lunch and got the tom yum shrimp soup to start(5⁄5 stars). It was perfectly spiced with lemongrass and the shrimp were delicious. The mushrooms has been marinated I think and were fantastic. The crab Rangoon(5⁄5 stars) were probably the best I’ve had in my life, and very unique. Thin, very crispy and flakey long thin roll, more like a spring roll or egg roll, with the creamiest, most delicious filling. Both of these are absolute must tries. Then I got the pad kee mao beef lunch special(4.5÷5 stars). A light and kinda sweet soy sauce over flavorful beef and peppers, onions, garlic with flat noodles. It was extremely delicious and would order it regularly. It came with a cup of miso soup that was really good and a tiny side salad that was very fresh and crisp and in an amazing dressing. Really spectacular dressing. Can not wait to come back. Oh and the owner is extremely nice and friendly and welcoming. His enthusiasm for his restaurant is exuberant without being too much. Awesome spot. It is tiny though. Very clean and nice but really spot. Go there now.

(1) great Thai fried rice. My suggestion is however that if you’re not a fan of white onions– tell them to leave it out– this is because they cut it into pieces the size of two quarters, so you’ll spend a lot of time picking them out of your dish. My older toddler is a picky eater and he loves this dish. (2) my go to is the fried tofu. (3) delivery? They advertise as offering delivery. However here is my experience and you can interpret it how you will. I have called in over 6 times during the span of lunch/dinner, weekday and weekend. All during that time– they stay they’re «temporarily not delivering because the delivery guy is backed up.» Also– in the 4 times I’ve been in there for dinner and lunch– I’ve never seen a deliver guy in there.

Rice Thai Bistro is a tiny place on the south side of Manchester next door to a boxing gym. I have been wanting to try it for a while and finally got around to doing so tonight. I ordered the chive dumplings to start. I was expecting a gyoza type dumpling with a thin dough but that’s not what came. The dough was more like a thinner steamed bun that you’d get with a dim sum dumpling. It was not steamed though it was pan fried because it had been seared on the top and bottom which produced some crispness. The chives inside had a delicate onion flavor with a hint of garlic. The dumplings were tender and savory. Very nice surprise. For my entrée I ordered the Salted Fish Fried Rice. It had egg, onions, and collard greens. They garnished the dish with 3 slices of raw cucumber and a lime wedge. I immediately discarded the cucumber and squeezed the lime over the dish. I’ve never had anything quite like this. The fish had a very mild flavor and the dish had a fluffy consistency except for the stalks of the collard greens which were bright and crisp. The acid from the lime played perfectly with the dish and it had a substantial black pepper flavor. It was excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. I am looking forward to going to back to try more of the menu. Yum.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had! This place is quaint. It’s located in Winchester Mall, a small strip mall next to a boxing place. My husband and I were both blown away. The chicken pad Thai was amazing. The crab Rangoon came differently then I’ve ever had it before and was delicious. Hubby had Jungle Curry with chicken and he declared it excellent. We are back today for lunch. It’s our new favorite Thai place.

Don’t let the location(hidden on Manchester Road) or the size of the restaurant fool you. Expect deliciously fresh Thai food at reasonable prices. From Pad Thai, to Red Curry to Spicy Eggplant to Thai Fried Rice, it’s all delicious. Have eaten at restaurant once and it was enjoyable. Usually get take out which is packaged well and gets home hot. Owner is very pleasant and willing to explain the dishes. It is now our Go To Thai place. Highly suggest you give it a try.

I found a gem tonight! This place is great. The chef came out to speak to us and talk about the detail he puts into each dish. My wife had the Pad Thai and she is picky– it was the best Pad Thai she had ever tasted. I had panang curry with shrimp– amazing. I’ll be back!

This restaurant has heart & it’s a good heart. Very small but very clean. Food is good. It’s enough reason to go back again and again.

Absolutely delicious! Got the jungle curry and green curry fried rice. Both were very flavorful and perfectly spiced. Very floral, intense flavors. The owners are very friendly and told us we could bring our own bottle since they don’t have the liquor license yet. The space is small but nice — a clean, modern décor. Most people were taking out on a Sunday night.

Wow! What a hidden gem in Ballwin! No joke, the location is easily missed when driving on Manchester Road-Madness. Rice Thai Bistro neighbors next to a Kickboxing Gym. The parking lot is pretty small and the restaurant itself is small. I was very taken back from the simple, clean, white interior when I first walked in. I guess I didn’t know what to expect, walking inside. The small restaurant probably can sit less than 20 people, so a large group is not recommend. I would say 4 – 5 would be okay. The food is awesome. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything. The Pad Thai is always customers’ favorite. I recommend the Massaman Beef which is more of a curry dish. The meat is so tender and packed with good flavor. Also the crab rangoons are delicious starters. I’m in all support for supporting small local restaurant, especially restaurants that bring in great flavors in West County. I believe I found my new favorite take out spot. There are so many items I want to try on my next visit. Thanks, RCB for providing great food! Also thanks Stacey, my foodie buddy, for introducing me to RCB!

Man, this is a little bitty place. But it was pleasant enough inside, very clean, and I enjoyed my meal. We were there about 5 pm on a Sunday, so it was pretty empty. However, there were a number of to-go orders called in. Anyway, the owner was quite friendly and chatty. And very helpful when I asked for suggestions about what to get. He told me what was popular, why, and how they tasted. What we ordered was very good, too — at least to our palates. The wife got the Tom Kha Chicken soup, which was loaded with chicken. The coconut soup base was nice and creamy, with a lot of flavor. My Tom Yum Shrimp soup was loaded with veggies and such, but only had two shrimp. So that was a little disappointing. The flavor was really good though, with a nice kick from the chili sauce. My Massaman Beef curry was very fresh tasting. The braised beef was extremely tender with a nice, savory sauce. Onion was tender and mild, and rice wasn’t overly sticky or dry. Would have liked just a bit more rice, though. The wife’s Thai Fried Rice was excellent. Extremely fresh rice, and highly flavored. The tofu she ordered with it had a nice crispiness to the outside without being mushy inside. A ton of large onion slices in it, though. While they were easy to set aside, they were raw with a strong bite — and could have at least been chopped up some since all we had was a fork to eat with.

We have found our Thai place! The Pad Thai was a flavor-filled fresh expression of all that is right with the world. The Masaam beef curry was desert and lunch at the same time. The Satay was scrumptious with an outstanding sauce. This is not your average Thai, but fresh dishes of artistry to delight your palate!

One of the best thai restaurants around! It is small and quaint. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. Brian, the owner, is so friendly and will go out of his way to make sure you are happy and taken care of. There are many dishes that are delicious and packed full of flavors! The menu is very diverse and the dishes are priced very reasonably. I am definitely picky when it comes to good thai food and I have gone to this place several times. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delectable meal!!!

Pretty awesome place! Just stumbled across it with a friend and stopped in for lunch. It has a unique flavor while still being fairly orthodox thai cuisine. The prices are very fair and the food is great. The guy who owns it is very friendly and the place looks new and clean. The only downside is that there are only about 6 tables in the whole place, that being said I didn’t have any trouble getting a seat.

A very small place located just off of 141 and Manchester road. They have a total of 7 tables and two employee potentially husband and wife. I got their Jungle Thai curry(watery) which came with a very small portion of steamed white rice. The dish was spicy and watery yet distinctive and full of flavors. This was my first time having a watery curry it almost reminded me of a Thai soup. The curry included kaffir lime peel and leaves, lemongrass, green pepper corns, galangal, garlic, pea eggplant and chilli. I got mine with chicken. But beef, pork and shrimp(extra $ 3) options are available as well. The male server/owner who greeted me was very nice and friendly. He quickly took my order and 15 minutes I was enjoying a delicious hot meal. I would highly recommend this place. Dinner prices on average are $ 10.95. This place is not good for groups because of its size. I would suggest take out. I also don’t think it’s suited for small children. The place is just TOO small. But delivers HUGE flavors. Check them out next time you’re in the area. You may just fall in love all over again. :) Enjoy!

If you’re looking for great, authentic Thai food — you’re in the right place! The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and the food is a whole other kind of incredible! The beef massaman is sooo good. I’m not normally the type of person to order the same thing at restaurants but that’s hard to pass up!

A must try! You won’t be disappointed. The owner/cook came out personally to greet me and chatted a bit with the repeat family customers also dining in. It’s an inmate casual place. Best crab rangoon I’ve had in awhile, my basil noodle dish was so good I ordered apad Thai to go to eat for lunch tomorrow. My kids will love it too, I’m certain! Dessert made with black rice and coconut milk was WONDERFUL!

We saw good reviews and decided to try this place. Brian the owner was familiar to us as he used to be with another local restaurant before going on his own. I tried the eggplant and hubby had the shrimp plah kong which really enjoyed. I also had the papaya salad which was very fresh. We thought the prices were very reasonable and everything was very good. We will definitely be back.

I came here with a couple of friends for lunch. One friend ordered the massaman beef & the other 2 friends ordered pad thai. The massaman beef came with a separate sauce. Ummmmm, that’s not how my family(Thai that is) eats it. But, okay. I didn’t get to taste it. The pad thai came with everything but a side of sugar. Ok, then. Again, I didn’t get to taste it. I got the moo ping(Thai bbq pork) & fried tofu. The moo ping was flavorless & bland. Sooo, not like home. Tiny skewers of pork with mostly oil. The sauce didn’t help much. The fried tofu was so-so. The sauce that came with it wasn’t my fave. The authenticity is somewhat there. Unless, you call this Americanized Thai food which to me this is what the food is. Service was ok. Perfect location. But, turning left across Manchester can be a bit tough at times.

This is a very small place with just 8 tables. They have been open for about 3 months now and I finally made it in to give them a shot. I’m always on the hunt for a great plate of Pad Thai and frequently disappointed… not this time! They offer an $ 8 lunch special which includes soup, salad and the entrée. Another two bucks gets an iced tea with lime wedges and free refills. The soup comes out first. Piping hot semi-clear broth with a good quantity of vegetables and some parsley floating on top. The broth had a very delicate flavor and was light on the tongue. It is slightly salty which really brings out the flavor of the vegetables — carrots, onion, potato, celery, parsley… you can taste each one individually as you scoop up spoonfuls of the stuff. Next up is the salad. Nothing too fancy on first glance — iceberg lettuce, sliced red cabbage and strings of fresh carrot. Looks can be deceiving though and this is one really unique salad because they dress it with something made in-house. I couldn’t quite identify the flavor so I took a little sip if the liquid left in the bottom of the salad bowl and thought I detected a very light pineapple flavor. I asked the owner and he told me it was pineapple vinaigrette. I’ve never even heard of pineapple vinaigrette before but what a great idea! Pad Thai was the final component of my lunch experience and it arrived piping hot with a trio of spice offerings on the side. The first thing that struck me was how much fresh stuff was piled on top of the noodles and pork. There were abundant green onions and bean sprouts such that the diner could choose how much of each to keep with the dish. On the side was a small bowl with crushed peanuts — same idea — and a wedge of fresh lime. Under the fresh stuff was a delicious mix of perfectly cooked noodles in a slightly sweet sauce with obvious chunks of egg that was added late enough in the cooking process to be less than the well-done usually seen in dishes like this. Along with the surprise of the egg was a different preparation of tofu than I’ve seen previously. They cut the block into pieces that were roughly ¼“x¼“x1″. The result is that they lacked the unattractive attributes that tofu can quickly develop in this dish. Instead, they were slightly sweet bits of flavor and added nicely to the texture of the dish as well. All in all, I’m impressed!
