We had a great lunch. The food was delicious. There was a woman working on the patio named Amanda and I’m hoping the owners know how lucky they are to have her as an employee!

This is a very good place and the Otter Burger is good, but the other reviews here on Unilocal over state it. It’s a fine atmosphere outside and the servers are great, but saying this the best burger you’ve ever had? I don’t see that. If you are in the area and need a great little spot to hang and chat, this place is just fine.

My walleye sandwich was very good, actually the menu is pretty darn good for bar food. But it is bar food! Waiter was nice, outdoor seating was plentiful and fun. The only reason I can’t go 5 stars is because the smell of smoke drifting into my food is gross. Good gracious Wisconsin, join the land of the living and BAN SMOKING. Who knew people still wanted to eat and smoke. No Don Draper sightings.

I love this place, while the dining area is too large for the kitchen and wait time to get you meal and appetizers are quite long the food is always worth the wait. I really enjoy sitting on the deck over looking the lake on a Sunday morning with my family or any night after work. The staff is great, always accommodating and the price is on par with the competition locally despite being a far better menu. I would rate it as a can’t miss stop if your just passing thru!

Been here twice in the last two weeks. The staff is great. Service was fast and attentive. Went here with a group of 100+ bikers and no one seemed to be waiting for drinks. The outside is really nice. A good place to go on a summer day. Nice scenery friendly service. I will be making this a frequent stop on any given day!

Stopped in for drinks and an appetizer. Sat outside in the tiki bar, it was packed at 5:00pm. Staff was very friendly and told us about all the weekly specials. Cheese curd batter was not predictable and was excellent! Wine, beer and appetizer came to $ 12.80. We were pleased. We plan to come back on a Thursday night for the all you can eat ribs for $ 9.99.

The former Fox Den is now known as the Otter Stop Inn. You can now enjoy interesting tropical cocktails served in honest to goodness fishbowls large and «small.» What hasn’t changed is the great deck, friendly servers, cheap beer (Spotted Cow FTW) and tasty cheese curds.
You really «Otter Stop Inn» if you’re in the area. (Sorry.)
