Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I’d like the agents of 1010 St. Paul, right here tonight. I want them brought from their Ivory tower with all the other rich people and I want them brought right here, with a big ribbon on their heads, and I want to look them straight in the eye and I want to tell them what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit they are! Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where’s the Tylenol?

I lived in this place for about a year. It is completely miserable. If you have any other option, choose that one. A) In the laundry room there are only two washing machines that work. The rest do not spin your clothes and thus they are in a huge puddle of water at the end and have to be dried for about three cycles. Also, the machines are rigged to run your laundry card twice about every other time you pay for a load of wash/dry. The building will tell you to call the laundry service company, who will do nothing about any of his. B) The maintenance men can’t speak English well which has proven dangerous when I called one into my kitchen to report a gas leak and he started lighting matches to prove my oven was working. We never really got anything resolved that day. Constant miscommunication. Very frustrating. There’s also a maintenance man with a MAJOR temper problem, he was fixing something in my apartment and screamed and cursed and smacked himself in the head. Very uncomfortable. C) These men also let themselves into your apartment when you’re not home, without notice. D) The rental office gives themselves random days off, without any reason or notice, which becomes a problem when you’re expecting an important package. Don’t count on being able to get it. I paid extra to have an IMPORTANT package rush delivered, came home on Thursday afternoon to a sign on the elevator saying no one was coming in tomorrow(mysterious weekday holiday number 1,000)– immediately called to say I needed the package. They told me I was out of luck and would just have to wait until Monday. Totally unacceptable. E) The front desk workers can be very rude. One in particular is constantly on her phone, often having loud, vulgar conversations. Unbelievably embarrassing when you have visitors in the lobby. F) Trash is stored in a room on each floor and rarely taken out, which makes the hallways smell terrible. It is absolutely disgusting in the summer when the hallways get HOT. G) We live in an end unit and the sealing around the windows and balcony doors is a joke. We can feel a breeze in the winter and our BGE shows it. It’s gotten to the point when I see other residents moving out I always congratulate them. Seriously. This place is awful.
