We have a commercial building in Hampden with 5 different commercial tenants. 911 Restoration came out within 30 minutes of initial phone call. their staff coordinated the efforts of the city responsiblework and the work of our private plumber, helping us to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible with minimal impact to our tenants.

My family is living in a temporary home after relocating from the other side of the country. We had what we thought was a little flooding in the basement a couple of months ago, and called our property managers. The manager showed up with a shop-​vac and a small dehumidifier. I was frankly skeptical this was enough since the carpet was still soaked after the vacuuming. I am from a dry climate that does not traditionally have basements, however, and had no clue how bad this problem would become. Several weeks later, there was another flood (problem with the washer). We called the managers again and they were totally unresponsive. We waited all day, texting back and forth, and no one showed up. After fruitless correspondence, the managers assured that they would show up the next morning (almost 24 hours later). But when I got home the following evening after a very long day with my son in the hospital, I knew no one had been to the house the second I walked in the door because the house reeked from top to bottom with the stench of mildew. We called the managers again, and were told that I was just hysterical because there was «no possible way that mold grew within 24 hours.» The odor was undeniable. I started calling water removal experts, but no one wanted to come by because I was not the homeowner. I was very worried about the very obvious fungal exposure to my young son. By the time that I called 9−1−1, I was in tears. The manager, Donald, said he would come personally after getting all the information and recognizing that I made every effort to contact the managers. Donald was awesome. We went downstairs and I seriously feel like I got a lesson in mold! Because of the slope of the flooring, all the water from the first and second floods had actually pooled in a completely different part of the basement than where either the managers or my husband and I were looking. The area was soaked, the walls were soaked, and when they popped the floorboards off, there was black mold growing on the length of the wall. Donald and two other men cleaned everything up. The charges were very reasonable. Donald then stuck around to speak with the managers who showed up to try and dismiss me and stop the clean up. 9−1−1 left huge blowers/​dehumidifiers in the basement for several days. When Dontel came to the get the equipment, I found him as equally helpful and professional. I hope that we never need these guys again, but if we had another need, I would 100% call them. They did an awesome job at a reasonable price. They were respectful, professional and reassuring. I am really grateful to them. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you, guys!
