Advanced Security Safe and Lock

Needed a car key made — was in and out in under 10 minutes. Maybe b/​c it was an older car w/​o all the auto unlock, etc features, but impressive.

I went here yesterday for a duplicate car key. Car key is fine. However, they have a sign that says their «credit car machine is down» so for their «customer’s convenience they have installed an ATM». I asked the person behind the counter about what the fee is, and he replied «ummm I think it’s 3%, it’s not for us».
If they care so much about making an extra few bucks, they should just raise their prices. Do they think people will seriously believe it’s easier to install an ATM then to get their credit card machines fixed, especially in the age of SquareUp?

I agree with the comments from Patrice because it reflects my experience. This company sucks at communications. I am certain they must be good at some things but dealing with a new customer is not one of them. After about a week… still no response and of course I checked the spam folder. So I called and got the dispatcher who said his name was Jack. He told me to re-​send my request to a different email and I included my phone number. The next day still no response to my second email. So I called AGAIN. Jack said he could send a tech out the next day and would call me. No one called or showed up. So I called AGAIN. Jack says he could not schedule a tech but failed to leave me a voice mail. The bottom line is their email apparently does not work and Jack the dispatcher must be mentally challenged. I would not hire these people if you paid me. Thankfully, such incompetence is rare. My message to this company is, if you cannot help me that is fine — just say so! I would recommend prospective customers try any other company.

Good company, great service. Got our broken safe open quickly and helped us select the best replacement safe. Very friendly and capable.

Just had an electronic key pad installed in my new house. this is the second one Advanced has done for me. great service and Charlie informed me of everything and went above and beyond and answered all my questions and explained other products they may have. thinking about getting alarm system installed too. he got it done quick and was very professional. I am very detailed oriented so I can be a pain but he had all the answers and wasn’t annoyed by all my questions!

I am very grateful for the quality of service and care they offered. I called the 24 hour emergency locksmith. Ben responded to our call and was at our house within an hour. He was very patient and helpful given the circumstances. He assured us that he was taking every possible measure to help us feel safe.
My car needed a new locking system. The price was reasonable given the amount of work. The turnaround was quick and again the service was outstanding!
We also had the back door replaced and reinforced. The guys did an excellent job in explaining the installation process and the security components. They picked the door I wanted and installed a secured door frame as well as the trim work.
I had no doubts that they know what they are doing. They are very courteous and responsive to our needs.

It was just starting to get cold and I needed a remote start key fob. They were so helpful, I didn’t even know the brand of the starter (it was already installed when I bought the truck). The person helping me found the brand, got me a fob, and programmed it within a half an hour. From what I saw they also had a great selection of safes and locks. I would recommend anyone who has anything that opens with a key should go there if they need any help.

Love this company, very reasonable prices. The owner is very patient and doesn’t pressure you instead he helped my arrive at the best solution for our family. His price was 60% cheaper than the competitor and he was much nicer.

I was moving and needed my 800lbs safe moved from Andrews Air Force base to Woodbridge, VA. Advance Security Safe and Lock was the only company to call me back and work with my moving schedule. Benjamin from Advance Security was very friendly and took time to explain how he would move my safe. He also took time to position my safe in the exact place that I wanted it and protected our hard wood floors from any damage. I very glad that I chose Advance Security Safe and Lock.

We needed our locks changed urgently. I called this company and they sent someone over within two hours. They were extremely helpful and responsive!

Would be «zero» stars if that were an option. Spoke with them at 9am and was told that someone would be at my house in «½ hour.» That was 4 hours ago. Called company several times since only to be told that the original locksmith was sent elsewhere and I could expect to be hearing from someone else «within a few minutes.» Of course, I have yet to hear from anyone. The customer service and reliability has proven to be really awful and I am still left with a broken lock!

I called late Sunday night and this was the ONLY business available. (I literally called 7 businesses!)
$ 69 to come out to my home
$ 16 installation fee
and instead of replacing my broken in pieces lock he only replaced the part he needed to which was $ 28!
The owner showed up and was a very kind and knowledgeable man. He was fast and courteous.
