The cheap rent is not worth it. Leaky ceiling that was never fixed and no deposit back. Shady behavior by changing the lease and saying things were in the lease that were not.

This review is for their property located at 2843 North Calvert St Baltimore, MD 21 218.
If I could give a half of star or even zero I would. I began renting from Aradu Properties in September of 2011. At that time the owner was using a property management company to run the property. Everything ran smoothly at this time. However, in October of 2012 the owner got rid of the management company and began running the building himself. This is when the ridiculousness began.
The owner did not keep the heat on at appropriate times. He was slow to respond to requests for meetings or to remedy issues. The most blatant form of mismanagement was of the utilities. Before he began to manage his own property, water bills were received on time, quarterly. After he took over, the water bills ceased coming quarterly. When asked about a bill, he said «do not worry about it». So I did not and neither did any of the other tenants. About 15 months later I purchased a house and put in my two months notice. Two weeks before scheduled to move I received a notice tacked to my door requesting $ 600 in unpaid water bill charges. When I asked for clarification regarding the bill, the owner became elusive. He began threatening me via email saying that I «should move out quietly» and that we would see «who would be the loser». After weeks of repeated email and phone call requests by myself and other tenants he finally agreed to a meeting when conducting a final walk through of the property. This is where his behavior worsened.
I asked to see my lease during the meeting to clarify the water bill terms and, even though he had it present as I had requested, he berated me for not bringing my own copy. While he was right I should have my own copy, I had requested he bring his copy to the meeting in advance. Other tenants noticed he was in the building and asked to speak with him. He evaded them. Told them they needed to get out of our apartment. Said they needed to make an appointment with him. They mentioned how they had called and text numerous times requesting an appointment. He told them they did not. When they provided proof of their calls and texts, he stated that they were using his landline and that is why he did not get them (the landline number is on the leasing documents). He told them to email him. They asked for his email address. He told them to look on the leasing documents. He began yelling at the other tenants. Finally he walked off. While walking off he told a tenant to «shut the fuck up» and called her a «bitch» saying that he did not have time for that.
Overall, I would say if you want a very unprofessional landlord who will disrespect to his tenants and skirts around responding to questions and concerns then this would be a great place to live. However, if you are like most people and value respect, honesty, integrity, and piece of mind then find somewhere else to live. Honestly. Besides, there are nicer placer in Charles Village for less. Happy apartment hunting!
