I used to come here over 20 years ago and was back this weekend to see Amen Corner. The cast and whole performance was excellent. Tickets were only $ 18. The theater is getting a little worn but the production was first class. There were vendors with nice products for sale during intermission. This is a great place to introduce theater to kids when there is an age appropriate show.

Good affordable entertainment by local actors and directors. A season subscription is the the best money spent for the season.

Very intimate relatively small seating area maybe 75 plus ppl. Didn’t actually count the seats. Decent plays occur here and they are involved with locals, young people, students, and those alike that intend to become the next up incoming actor/​actress. There is a long Baltimore history at Arena Players
When I did go the big guy from the HBO hit series, «The Wire» was the director of a good production at this location.

I’m here. Checking in early. Free play starts at 7:30pm. I checked in at 7:00 pm. I needed to use the ladies room. I know this is a very old building and donations are needed to keep this place going but, when I entered the bathroom it was clean but, the floor had a piece of wood on it covered with carpet. Not so sure what was under there and I am scared to even ask. The hallway used for the waiting area is pretty bare. Play Red Flags started 10 minutes late but, I must say the performance tonight was awesome. It was like nothing I had ever experience. It’s a free play. If I were you I would make time to see it. It talked about things that are normally brushed under the rug or things people pretend to be blind and not see. Call and reserve your ticket today. You don’t want to miss it.
