Enjoyed breakfast here! The service was excellent. They always checked on us. I had the Huevos Rancheros. The salsa was pretty good. He had the French Toast Monte Cristo. This is a must try! The dijon mustard wasn’t strong like other sandwiches. We also had a piece of pancake with chocolate chips. Nothing special about it. Overall, good ambience and we will definitely come back!

Busy city vibe away from the city. Enjoyed a lunch of red shrimp soup with kale and broccoli florets on top and bread wedge on the side and New Avocado Grill on tasty brioche bun. Off the beaten bath on Falls Road going north near Princeton Sports. Outdoor seating. Plus jams, chocolate bars and other local brand munchies to take home.

I eat here once a week. Yes, Atwater’s is totally overpriced for sandwiches and soup but it’s SOGODDAMNEDDELICIOUS. I have NEVER been disappointed with a meal here. When I need a quick bite, I go to Atwater’s, when I’m hungover, I go to Atwater’s, when I’m writing my master’s thesis and grading student papers, I go to Atwater’s. It’s awesome. My boyfriend and I eat here at least once a week because we love it so much. Wonderful coffee, amazing sandwiches and soups. I can’t say enough good things. The staff is super awesome and remember me when I come in. I usually get, «So do you need a menu today or no???» My favorite things to eat are the ham and cheese on a cheddar biscuit, the turkey jack, and the turkey cran Brie. So, so, so good. Thank you Atwater’s for existing. My only wish is that this location served alcohol like the Belvedere Square one does. And that it was open for dinner. :)

You may get annoyed at the prices. Sometimes the yoga-clad patrons playing«can you top this» about the cost of their kids’ private schools can make you nuts. And if you’re expecting any coca cola or Pepsi product with your meal, forget it. Go to Atwaters for delicious food that is creatively prepared from fresh ingredients, many of them organic. Salads are made in front of you to your exact specifications. Sandwiches come on fresh bread, some house made, of all types. Chicken salad is gourmet and tuna salad is totally non-dairy. And if you’re a fan of pancakes, Atwaters are some of the best in Baltimore, hands down. The staff is amazing. Great people.

I am not one of those people who swear by Atwater’s. In fact, the high rating is pretty much solely based on their homemade granola and yogurt parfait, which is phenomenal. I am actually deducting a star mid review due continuous odd exchanges with the staff. As I sit at a table enjoying my tea and writing this review, I’ve twice now received the impression that I am being hurried along despite being the only customer dining in. Though I’ve finished my food, I’ve made no moves to pack up my things as I was actually planning on getting some work accomplished while I am here. My check was brought over to me without comment then shortly after I was asked if I wanted him to bring me a to-go cup for my tea. Granted, the second time around he finished by telling me I didn’t need to feel rushed since clearly it was empty but how else was I to take it? So much for sticking around and ordering more food as I worked; I packed up my things and went elsewhere. A couple of things to note: They use seasonal fruits in their granola and yogurt parfait. If you’re not picky on what they put in, no need to worry, otherwise ask ahead of time what’s going in. Secondly, they only serve one type of coffee and it’s a dark roast.

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The breakfast menu is short but tasty. The breve was very good. I would recommend.

The lattes and specialty drinks made by the baristas are always tasty! The food is fresh, filling and delicious! The staff is always hard at work while appearing to love what they do. You can tell the customers also love this place. The only negative I notice is that the food is a little pricey and the regular coffee could use a change.(The coffee is a little fruity and I could see this place majorly benefiting by changing their coffee flavor selection).

Previously when I would eat here(breakfast food) it was fine. But today I ordered a sandwich to go; when I opened it, the bread was burnt and the sandwich already started to fall apart. The tomato was not good anymore(ruined and not fresh). I’m very disappointed.

I’d like to speak to the previous reviews about the disorganization of this place. True: when I walked in, I naturally walked up to the counter. I was stopped mid-stride and asked if my order would be for here or to go. Once I said I was here, I was directed to sit anywhere I liked. That was the only moment of disorganization I experienced. After that, I had great customer service and pretty good food(those cheddar biscuits, yum). Overall, it was a decent experience, and I will return.

Stopped in for a cookie and a smoothie for my son. They don’t sell smoothies or milkshakes, no biggie we opted for a prepackaged fruit drink, but when the cashier gave me our total of $ 8 I almost swallowed my tongue! Wowwee – very pricey!

I love the vibe of this Atwaters. They have both inside and outside seating. The food is quality and the prices are great. I love the egg cheddar bagel sandwich.

It’s pretty good. I usually like everything, but I do think management is lacking. And the kitchen staff need to review contamination basics… luckily I’m not allergic to peanuts, because I once ordered the breakfast sandwich– which is simple but tasty– and when I bit into I found peanut butter along the edge, as if the same knife had been used to spread pb and cut my bagel/egg/cheese sandwich. Kinda yucky… Overall, it can be hit or miss, but mostly it’s just an expensive gamble. Meh.

This is officially off my go-to list for a quick bite after work or the gym. This Atwater’s location really makes me question its cleanliness. I don’t want to wait for my sandwich, peer into the kitchen, and see someone wipe their nose while assembling a sandwich. Furthermore, as I sit with a smile on my face, being as pleasant as the average customer, I feel really uncomfortable as the workers in the kitchen peer out, stare, say something to a fellow coworker, and then stare again. It’s just bizarre, and if you wouldn’t manhandle food items if you were assembling out in the main area, why do you do it behind? This location needs a manager to take charge of the cleanliness in the kitchen, and the attitude of the cashiers. It’s just plain awkward to sit and wait while three cashiers talk amongst themselves for a few minutes before greeting you and taking your order.

This is the lesser of the Atwater’s location. It is, as others have said, «disorganized». The reasons behind its disorganization is its poor planning. It’s jammed into a small area, and the registers are at the wrong end. It gets more people inside if there is a line, but in such a cramped space, it makes it harder to do anything, as you must come in, go all the way down the counter, order, and then come back up a bit to get your items. Poor planning. The food is as good as any other Atwater’s, and it contains a lot of natural things, which makes sense for the price(some people don’t get that, I guess). Overall, not a bad horrible place, but even if I’m really craving a delicious Atwater’s chicken salad sandwich, and even though this place is less than a mile from my job(as the crow flies), I sometimes find it hard to go here just because I know how cramped and poorly laid out the store is.

I usually go to the location in Kenilworth but thought I would try this one. I won’t again. Like other reviewers noted, this place is really disorganized. When I walked in, no one greeted me and servers rushed by, refusing to even make eye contact. After 10 full minutes of waiting for a table while not being acknowledged, I went to the counter and asked if it’s a seat yourself kind of deal. She couldn’t give me a straight answer. ??? Thanks, but no thanks. I walked out.

This place baffles me. The food is good but nothing out of this world. everything seems really fresh. i wold eat here much more but the food is WAY overpriced! who can afford to eat $ 10 sandwiches with no sides everyday? Also the flow of the restaurant is really confusing. Where do you order? Do they bring or do you wait for food? Need more thought into those small details if they want to charge those prices.

Never a bad meal. Love the chicken salad w dried cranberries and apples. Soups are delish. I always get an iced mocha and it’s one of the best around! Parking is sometimes a pain, but worth it!

Very good but short menu(changes daily). Good sandwiches, very good salads, yummy breads and desserts.
