Baskaran Deepak, MD

I really like going to see Dr. Baskaran. He’s not the type to pump you full of medication. He’s really friendly and it doesn’t feel like he rushes you at all. The waiting room is pretty small and not really nice looking and I’ve had to wait 30 minutes even with an appointment, but I would not think fo going to another doctor.

After moving to Maryland, I was in need of all new doctors. I actually was referred to Dr. Deepak Baskaran by my personal trainer from Colosseum Gym in Columbia, MD.
I am so glad that I took his recommendation. He spoke very highly of him, and so I figured I had nothing to lose. Dr. Baskaran is awesome — very thorough and knowledgeable. In fact, in my first appointment with him, he spent over 1 hour going over everything in my health history, and recommendations for the future. He also gave me several referrals for specialists in the area.
After getting some tests done, I was always able to call him and discuss the results by phone, although he is a very hard doctor to get a hold of by phone and seems to leave by 2−3pm. So, it’s best to try and reach him by phone early in the morning.
If you are looking for a good general physician in the Baltimore area, you won’t go wrong with Dr. Baskaran. Again, he is very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. What doctor is willing to spend 1 hour with you on your first appointment these days?! Unheard of!

I try hard to live a healthy way of life so choosing the right doctor was important to me. Dr Deepak Baskaran is my guy. He is smart and in-​tune with my life goals. And since he is fairly young himself, I am looking forward to keeping him as my doc for the remainder!
