Has an amazing selection of beads… Watch out you might go crazy and get shocked at the cashier when u see a $ 50 bill for a bunch of beads.

My mom is super into beading and I’ve been waiting to take her for 2 years. She loved and and I’m happy that she’s happy! All the ladies working there were so funny and nice, too. :)

They had beautiful beads and the customer service was fabulous! For beads, they weren’t bad prices, especially the freshwater pearls.

Friendly service and good collection ! Good location in downtown Baltimore ! Parking is the only problem there, you may get a meter parking if you are lucky ! Once you check in on Unilocal,i got a gift from the store ! Not bad !

This is an adorable little store with fun employees. I stopped in and took a beginners beading class about two weeks ago. It was fun and friendly, a very positive experience. Then I spent way too much money on beads and supplies! But I plan to take another class when I have a chance.

I had to update my review, since I had signed up for and taken the introduction to beading class offered here. My instructor was the store manager herself(Cas) and she proved herself to be VERY knowledgeable about her craft. Beading and making jewelry yourself is actually much simpler than I had believed, and I ended up with a beautiful pair of earrings and necklace made in that first class. My creativity is now fired up and I came back today to purchase more items. Yes, it’s pretty expensive here, there’s no doubt about that, but they do have some very unique items that I’ve never seen anywhere else, so it’s good for bead supplies that you may have never seen before. I do have a rewards card here, so that tells you how much I do stop in. Also, the staff is starting to remember me by name, heh. I do highly recommend the classes here. If you’re curious about getting started, this is definitely the place to find out more — the staff here is extremely well-versed in what they do and they’ll get you seriously thinking about the creations that you could make. Classes are very individualized — there were only three of us and the instructor — so there’s a LOT of one-on-one attention and instruction. They don’t rush you through it, either — they make sure you have it down before you leave. I paid about 50 dollars total — 30 for the class, about 5 for the required kit, and 15 for supplies(though the supplies part is really up to you, you design the class piece yourself, so the cost will vary). Even if you don’t have an interest in doing this, it’s well worth a stop in here. As for me, I’ll be returning quite a bit, as I live only blocks away and I’ve found this to be a very enjoyable(if pricey) hobby for myself.

First, parking. If you turn on Franklin Street there is a large garage. The sales person in the store told me that they will give you a discount parking ticket for the garage(I didn’t know this and parked on the street). The store is fantastic. There is a wide array of beads in every size and color. Prices seemed very reasonable. Very nicely laid out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Now that I know about the parking garage I’ll be more likely to come back.

I am very upset at this store and would not recommend it. I give it one star because they have a wide choice of beads but the staff is unfriendly. Also, I fell once in the rain just nearby. I showed up at their store bleeding pretty badly. They had just closed but were still inside so I knocked on the door so I could call someone for emergency(I didn’t have a cellphone at the time) and showed my bleeding arm. They just looked at me, realized that I was bleeding, shrugged and mouthed«sorry we’re closed.» I was speechless. Luckily, the chiropractor’s office across the street helped me but to this date, I will not give my business to Beadazzled anymore. Great store, awful staff.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews! Ok — I know: the name of the store is dated and immediately conjures up images of really crappy sweaters with 8,000 rhinestones worn on some infomercial model, but hear me out. I won’t lie — I initially came in just because of the name. I wanted to see just how 90s it would be. I was in the neighborhood shopping anyway, might as well, right? Well, if I came in there with the purpose of getting a good laugh, the joke was on me. I seriously left the place INSPIRED to create my own jewelry. Anyone who knows me knows that I love interesting, AFFORDABLE pieces. I wear everything, but never a lot at one time(a necklace, no earrings or earrings and a bracelet, no necklace, etc). Since I am a minimalist in that regard, what little I do wear needs to make a statement — even if it’s just a small one. Beadazzled has some pieces already made, but it was the HUGE circular tables of cups and cups of shiny, sparkly things that caught my eye. Some were big, some were small. Some were clear, some were multicolored and indo-inspired. It got my mind working, putting different combos together in my head. When I was done with one huge table, the other one beckoned and it was the same thing. Presentation MADE this store. The displays alone are just cool to browse through. When I did tear my eyes away from all the pretty little things, I noticed more pretty little things against the wall. There were strands of flat glass, beads, and stone all of which could be brought and then paired with the beads on the tables to make something really imaginative. The items on the wall were marketability more expensive($ 30 and up!), but the quality was higher and you got more stones than if you just bought them freely and not on the strand. The sales associate was very patient with my newly discovered inclination to take on jewelry making. I asked her a lot of novice questions to which she answered with thought, no hint of condescension. She pointed out that they sold everything you need to make jewelry there, including the different tools, and that it was one-stop shopping. I asked her if it was difficult and she swore it wasn’t. Still, I didn’t want to experiment on the expensive stones, so I went back to the cheapy bead table. I haven’t had a chance to start making my first one yet, but I will. Who knows? Maybe I can become one of the creative jewelry makers I buy from!

There are lots of reasons to give this place 5 stars, including: — Perhaps the most amazing collection of semi-precious bulk and single beads I’ve ever seen… we are talking gemstones, pearls, glass, czech, cinnabar, bali silver, swarovski, the list goes on. — The store is very well organized by color and, along the back wall, type. — Also hosts a large selection of findings, wire, chains, tools, etc. — Lots of pre-made jewelry to inspire or purchase, too! — Beautiful selection and display that is inspiring and adventurous. — In a fun part of town with decent street parking. But, I can’t give Beadazzled 5 stars because: — The prices are a bit up there. Granted, the location is in downtown Baltimore, but still.(Which is why I so easily spent over $ 100 in one visit!) — The staff seemed to look down on me. I guess my $ 100+ purchase was not good enough to get good customer service? Though the two ladies behind the counter technically helped me, they seemed to have an attitude and corrected half the stuff I said about the beads I was buying. Guess they never heard that the customer is always right(esp. one who has her own jewelry biz)? — They wouldn’t let me take a picture. I flat out asked and they flat out said no. I also praised the store to all the employees I spoke with and they could seem to care less that a customer, ie the one who pays their bills, liked their store. WTF? That said, the pros really do outweigh the cons, though I can’t let them get away unscathed. It’s probably better that I do not live in Baltimore, as all my money would be lost in the sea that is this place.

I was randomly up in the Mt. Pleasant area for the Baltimore Book Festival and the sky was expressing its desire to prove books and water are a disastrous combination. My friend and I ducked into this shop to escape the downpour. I love bead stores, though rarely buy much because of the inflated prices. But here, the friendly salesgirls managed to talk me into spending $ 25 on a jade pendant stone shaped into a whale tail. Frankly, it was quite possibly the coolest bead in the entire store and I got caught up in the bead-euphoria. Unlike other bead stores I had been in, this one was large and airy enough not to feel claustrophobic. They had a large collection of single loose beads but I was most impressed with their vast collection of focal beads, most of which were actually not too badly priced. This is definitely a store to remember next time I’m in the area, though I might have to leave the credit cards at home.
