I finally got to Boog’s this summer during one of my two trips to Camden Yards. The food was okay — but I was a little underwhelmed admittedly given the hype. The portion was pretty small for the price and the flavor was just decent, although I do like the Old Bay seasoning. If you’re going to Camden Yards, you almost have to do Boog’s but I think they take that for granted… Booo –g.

Decent beef, turkey, and pork sandwiches. I always get the beef, but sometimes some turkey gets on the sandwich and I would say it is equally as good. It’s not going to be the best bbq sandwich you’ve ever had, but it is solid enough and a tradition at Orioles Park. The sides are skimpy as hell(beans and slaw) and if you want chips, you should opt for the double meat sandwich for $ 1 more. Just get the double meat anyway and thank me later. Make sure you lather the sandwich with bbq sauce and horseradish and some onions. Pro Tip: I found out there is also a 2nd Boog’s on Club level if you have fancy seats.

Ran the gauntlet at this place my first three visits to the park; they offer turkey, pork and beef which are the best in that order. A little on the pricey side, but let’s face it — what sports concessions aren’t? The line gets very long at certain points, and Boog himself if usually there about an hour before first pitch signing autographs and greeting fans for free. A good experience.

I have eated pit beef here before and I don’t remember it being this terrible. It was like beef jerkey that had been rehydrated. I would not pay anything for it let alone $ 10. It’s a definitive pass it isn’t what it used to be.

Ahh, summertime. With temperatures currently below my personal threshold for comfort, and my morale at an all-time low, it is nice to think back to the better times. Orioles baseball and Boog’s. Despite living in DC, I am lucky enough to have an O’s fanatic for a father, which means I have been coming to Camden Yards since it opened in 1992 and I was four years old. This summer I went to around 10 games, and probably ate at Boog’s nine of those times. What can I say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I always go with the pork sandwich, although I have sampled a friend’s turkey in the past and agree it was mighty good considering I don’t really like turkey. My father, who can eat much more than his body would lead you to believe, always says to go with the double-meat. This is A LOT of meat and don’t recommend it unless you are very hungry or are sharing with a friend. Sometimes a good option though when forgoing the bread. The kettle chips with Old Bay are a crucial side, and make sure to load up on onions and horseradish. The horseradish honestly makes the dish. Is the food perfect? No, but in my opinion, it is the best in the park. Forgo the crab cake(and who gets a crab cake at a baseball game anyway???) and get a delicious sandwich from the man Boog himself. Then, head to the Free State Pub by 3rd Base and grab yourself a Flying Dog beer on draft and enjoy the game. Thank me later.

Great grub! I go up yearly to see the Red Sox & I had my fiancée in tow this season. We fasted all day so that we could tackle Boog’s at game time. I had the turkey & she had pork, and we got the«Big Boog», which equated to having a turkey football, and the chips with the Old Bay seasoning were very good. Plus, we got to chat with the main man himself, so that was an added treat. My only gripe would be the price, it was 40.00 for the two of us with bottled waters, which is beyond stiff, but when they have 9 dollar beer, what should you expect?

I had a lousy pit beef sandwich that was as tough as shoe leather, served with a side of shitty attitude by one of the employees. It was my first time in a few years to get a Boog’s BBQ at the ballpark — and a real shame that it was so bad along with the lousy service. Pffft. No place for that at OPACY!!!

I’ve come here a couple times when I’ve been to O’s games. Definitely far from really good barbeque, but I still think it’s worth checking out if you come by for a game. The line can be a little daunting, but it moves fast. The sandwich itself is pretty boring, so you really have to add stuff to it at the Fixins bar. I’ve perfected my Old Bay to bbq sauce ratio, so I’m happy with how it turns out in the end. I wouldn’t say to go out of your way to check this place out, but if you’re intrigued go for it.

Got my Dinner here while attending an Orioles game on my Birthday. I chose the double-meat Pork BBQ sandwich, which came with homemade(I believe) Kettle Chips. The Pork was tender, flavorful, juicy and remarkable. Really good. The Kettle Chips were crunchy and nice. This is the best food choice at Camden Yards if you are me. Good meat treated nice.

Always a solid meal. Used to buy tickets with my friends and a meal ticket for this place came with it. I looked forward to that almost as much as the game.

I got the sliced turkey. It was OK but a little overpriced even for being in Camden Yards. That being said, I drank 8 beers during the game and hit up Boogs for a pork sandwich in the 8th inning so I wasn’t that put off by the $ 11 sandwich I guess.

Was at the ballpark over the weekend and went to Boog’s before the game started. They had two lines serving food with a third line for meeting the man himself. The meats are all thinly sliced which is different from most bbq joints. For the 4 of us we got two beef and two pork, 1 slaw, and 4 drinks. They offer horseradish, raw onions, and heinze bbq sauce at the condiment bar. Choice of sauce is a bit disappointing. The sandwich is pretty large but i found it needed something else to supplement the meat. I used some slaw and bbq sauce, and we wolfed it down on the porch in right field. It was satisfying but not really approaching top notch bbq in my opinion.

Awesome turkey! And most meats are gluten free and they even have gluten free rolls! Say hi to Henry!!!

Didn’t have a bad taste but nothing special or tasty about it. If it wasn’t for the fresh horseradish and BBQ sauce, I may not have taken more than a bite or two. Good value in terms of the fact that it was a large sandwich, with a lot of meat… they didn’t skimp there at all.

I arrived at Camden Yards starving, paid a bunch of money, then was less hungry. That’s the nature of ballpark food, and it succeeded. I got the turkey Boog sandwich and a beer. Overall, I had mixed feelings. On the plus side: The sandwich was pretty large(though not huge), with good cuts of meat.($ 10). However, the meat was cold and really dry. I probably should have added more toppings(There’s a bar with BBQ sauce, onions, and horseradish), but didn’t foresee the need to slather my sandwich with Heinz BBQ sauce. The roll was pretty weak also If I went again, I’d probably go with the«Double Boog»($ 15 for double meat and chips), but I won’t go again. I am being generous in giving 3 stars, since this is, after all, ballpark food. But there looked to be some good alternatives in Camden Yards, so you’ll probably want to think about those before just seeing Boog’s and settling.

The chioce of beef, pork, and turkey was great! I also loved their kettle chips with seasoning. They let you sauce your own BBQ-ed meat. I loved it! $ 15 for a giant sandwich and load of chips was WELLWORTHIT!

I returned to Baltimore for the first time in 8 years and when I found out I was going to the Orioles-Rays game(that lasted 14 incredible innings), my first thought was«I have to get some Boog BBQ!» My father and I split both a beef and a turkey sandwich. The best part is how high the meat is piled on the kaiser roll. It’s a well-sized portion and can be pretty filling. Sure, a sandwich may cost $ 10 or so, but it’s pretty fair value for a ballpark. For the beef, we added Boog’s BBQ sauce and I added some raw onions. I liked the beef, it was easy to chew and had a nice spice to it also. But as was the case back in 2004, the star is the turkey. This meat with the BBQ sauce, may be my favorite way to eat turkey. I can’t recommend ordering that one strongly enough. The topping stand with the onions, horseradish, jalapenos, and sauces is a nice touch too. But if I had to give some criticism, it would be targeted at the sauces. The regular BBQ sauce tastes mild with a little tang. I like it well enough, but I’d like a spicier option too. And the mustard sauce just tasted like a spicy brown mustard, not a mustard-based BBQ sauce. And I’m a die-hard Mets fan, but I’ll say it. Buck-le up. Good luck to the Orioles in September.

Made the trek down for the Grand Prix. Good race btw. We ordered the pit beef sandwich with extra meat and chips. There was more than enough food for two. $ 15 was good value for our meal relative to the other options available at the race. One star deducted because the bbq sauce was too sweet.

Boog’s is possibly the best food at Camden Yards. Yes, it is expensive, but this is a baseball stadium, where everything is obnoxiously overpriced, get over it! My favorite thing at Boog’s is the pit turkey platter: pit turkey sandwich, baked beans, cole slaw. I’ve only gotten Boog’s at the club level location recently, so I’m not sure what the portions are like on Eutaw, but the club level location makes sure that the plate is overflowing with food. Anyways, the sandwich and sides are always tasty, along with the jalapeño bbq sauce which has a mild kick to it. Boog’s is a classic spot at Camden Yards, especially when Mr. Powell is hanging out in front.

One of my favorite things about Camden Yard’s is Boog’s Barbeque. I usually get it every time I’m at the game. My favorite is the pit turkey with kettle chips and beans. It is a hefty price but you are at a ball game but Boog’s really gives you alot for your money. The turkey is overflowing on the bun and the chips fill up the basket. I usually can’t finish the chips but my wife manages to help me with that. Plus Boog Powell is almost always there talking baseball and signing autographs so it’s a win win. Great food and talk some baseball with one of the hometown greats. GO O’s!
