Terrible customer service. If you want to be treated like your money, opinions, and atheistic taste don’t matter, head right on over to Niko’s and ask for the owners! If you want a positive experience, head anywhere but here…

We arrived early to Niko’s and were told that we had to wait. We were welcomed to look at the bridesmaids dresses, but were told that we were not allowed to look at the bridal gowns. Apparently, we time traveled back to the 1970s. Just as we were about to ditch the place, the saleswoman said that we were now allowed to look upstairs at bridal dresses.
Once upstairs, we were faced with a plethora of over-​priced, out-​of-​fashion bridal dresses. As we were looking, my friend, the bride, told the saleswoman about her budget, who rudely retorted that she should look at the sale items.
The overall problem with this place was that the saleswoman took personal offense to our dislike of her dresses and did not cater to her clientele. If you are looking for a retro style dress and want rude staff to assist you, this is your spot!

My sister and I took my 15 year old niece to Niko’s to find a prom dress — it’s her first dance and she’s very excited. She had never been to a bridal store or looked at formal gowns before. Luckily we picked a date when it was cold outside with snow forecasted, and the shop was relatively quiet. Jean was very very helpful to us and our niece tried on a dozen gowns in different styles. Jean was helpful with finding accessories like a belt with bling, a wrap, and shoes to help finish the look. The store had a very nice selection of gowns for various occasions (prom, bridal, bridesmaid, formal events) and pricing was reasonable. We will return to Niko’s again!

Maria, what a shame your son had to deal with that. Thanks for sharing your problem that you had. I got married 23 years ago and got my girls dresses there, 7 of them, and had the same issues. I have been bad mouthing their horrible customer service for years. I would never suggest anyone ever deal with them. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that when I ride by their store I growl at it. We were treated so rudely, I will choose to spend my money where someone appreciates it.

My son was in his cousin’s Wedding on 5÷24÷14. He is only 14 and is battling cancer. He had a growth spurt in the 3 months since he had originally been fitted for his tuxedo. We were NOT permitted to pick up the tuxedo’s until the day before the wedding which was ⁵⁄₂₃. I made a special trip to Niko’s on ⁵⁄₂₂ so that my son could try on the tux. As suspected, the jacket did not fit properly. The owner said the sleeves were two inched too short. He assured me that this would be done by Friday when we were due to pick up the tuxedo.
My son had chemotherapy on Friday ⁵⁄₂₃ ALL day so my nephew picked up his tux for me. On the day of the Wedding, 5/​24, my son put his tux on and NO ADJUSTMENTS were made. We had to roll up the sleeves on his shirt so he wouldn’t stand out like a sore thumb in photos. You could still visibly see that the jacket did NOT fit.
When we contacted Nikos and spoke to Nick (the manager), he offered to reimburse us a whole $ 10.00 for the error. REALLY? Not only does Nikos charge way too much for a tuxedo rental ($ 170) but they fell short on customer service and offered a measly $ 10 rebate?!? It cost me more in GAS alone to make the trip there for a final fitting!!! How about all of the photos where he is wearing a jacket that is too small?
What particularly makes me angry is that It’s bad enough that everyone stares at a child with cancer because they have no hair — but now you add to it that my son had to walk down the aisle in a jacket that looked like it would fit a 10 year old… UNACCEPTABLE!
Way to go Niko’s by providing the worst customer service EVER and offering next to nothing to make it right!

Bridal Fashions by Niko was a great place to find Bridesmaids dresses. The location was within 10 minutes of my wedding venue which made meetings/​scheduling much easier. Mrs. Gene was such a blessing to me! She really coached me through the process because I had a 4 color palette and my Bridemaids all had their own dress style and color. In the wedding world, it’s difficult to get people on board with modern ideas however; Mrs. Gene understood my vision and made the dress process come together nicely. In the end, all the dresses came out great and my Bridesmaids were truly gorgeous and quite the Bombshell!

I am a fan of Nikos! I purchased my wedding dress from here 13 years ago. I had such a great experience that when my sister was looking for a wedding dress a few months ago, I brought her here. She ended up having a great consultation — the consultant pulled a few dresses like what my sister said she was looking for and then one that the consultant herself thought would be a good fit. The one that the consultant had a feeling about ended up being the one that my sister loved the most and ended up buying. She was spot on! We ended up getting the bridesmaids dresses here too. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We never felt rushed or pressured. I’d definitely recommend this place.

I had a terrific experience here and came extremely close to purchasing a dress from this store. My bridal assistant was a woman named Jean. She was absolutely delightful. I tried on so many dresses and she never seemed to grow impatient with me. Though she was extremely complimentary, it seemed like her sole genuine concern was helping me find the dress that would make me happy. She only put her two sense in when asked, which was such a welcome break from the usual pushy and overwhelming attendants who will say just about anything to make the sale. She even helped me find a breathtakingly gorgeous gown that was only $ 400! I am from out of town and wasn’t ready to make a decision, but to be honest I still harbor a some regret about not making the purchase. I have been to about a dozen bridal stores at this point and this was definitely one of the best experiences I had.

I was the only person there when I showed up for my appointment and the lights were off in half of the store. The corset and all of the dresses I tried on had really bad brown sweat stains. The woman who helped me wasn’t mean, but she seemed really bored and indifferent. I don’t think she smiled and rarely said anything unless I asked her a direct question. I felt like I was a bother. To top it off, they only had a couple dresses that were even close to what I was looking for. I just felt really uncomfortable here…
