Very good chicken gyro. Fries were a little cold but still pretty good.

This place is great! Friendly, inexpensive, quick food, everything you really need if your working in the inner harbor and looking for good. Brusco is attached to Cava Mezze. I want to say that Cava owns them but i’m not 100% sure. I order the same thing every time and they pretty much know my by name now. One of the cooks who’s name I don’t know yet is always so nice and starts making my ‘lambros salad w/chicken’ while I order. She’s great as well. I’m not sure what days to go. I know during the week they have specific hours and they are not open on the weekend which is a bummer. I heard they just stopped that a couple of months ago. If they were open on the weekend, I would drive all the way from Silver Spring for a bite. Thats how good they are. Overall I give them a 5⁄5 for being easy, never messing up anything, nice and courteous, and food is great and always comes out hot. Every Cava Mezze needs a Brusco hooked onto it!

I was craving a really good burger down here in harbor east. I’ve tried pretty much all of them with mixed feelings, so I was surprised when I walked by cava and saw this new little sandwich shop. I ordered their Fleet Street burger and crinkle cut old bay fries and they were Dee-licious! Not high brow, but a very good working man’s burger. Huge thick patty cooked perfectly to temperature on a sesame seed bun. Beware it comes with gussi sauce(ketchup and mayo mixed), cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion; so if you don’t want some of that be sure to ask for it on the side. The fries were steaming hot and crispy. Perfecto! I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other sandwiches. Oh and did I mention, the whole thing was 9 bucks. Quite the steal in Harbor east!

Brusco was really great! The food was moderately priced and generous portions for 10 bucks(huge sandwich and fries). Besides that, the sandwiches were really tasty. We were there about 1 o’clock on a Tuesday and there was no wait. No complaints here and a great place to check out in Baltimore

More places need to do this. Brusco is a lunch counter at the much fancier Cava Mezze. For around 10 bucks you can grab one of a half dozen sandwiches, and they come with fries. The staff is friend. Everything I’ve had has been large portions, fresh made, and tasty. This is one of those places I want to work my way down the menu — and unfortunately, it won’t take long(small menu). Thing Gyros, burgers, fried chicken sandwiches. Its all put on real bread, made to order, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. As a warning — on Fridays, the line gets a bit intense, so show up late or early if you are in a rush.

Had a great lunch at Brusco Sunday with a friend. The Floofli was delicious — cooked perfectly! Fries were good too! The service was great — the cook was so friendly! Glad I finally tried it. Looking forward to coming back and trying other things on the menu.

The foofli sandwich is really good and the fries were seasoned to perfection. Unfortunately my chicken and bread were partly burned. It didn’t ruin the overall taste but certain bites weren’t as good as others. I tried the fries as soon as I received my order(To Go) and they were delicious. I was disappointed that the condensation from the plastic container made the fries very soft. It may seem minor but such a small thing really affects the taste so I hope they consider changing their container.

Great sandwich options here. Brusco is a little section right next to Cava Mezze. Prices are reasonable. The gyro and philly cheese steak varieties are excellent choices. Love that they have the Maine Root sodas available.

The Harbor East food scene is popping up with a new place every time I blink. Cava Mezze does an awesome brunch, and has a great little sandwich shop next door called Brusco. Brusco is a cute little luncheonette with only twelve seats, which sounds small, but most of the people I see visiting Brusco are grabbing their sandwich to go anyway. After going to Brusco twice in a week, and one day the following week, I knew I couldn’t keep this place to myself. I called a friend and convinced her to meet me for lunch to try ‘really awesome reasonably priced Greek food.’ The menu is constantly changing(which is awesome.) In theory, you could visit every day and not try all of their offerings because the menu is changing so frequently. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the Yee-Ro(Not Gyro). The sandwich had warm pita, stuffed with gyro meat, tzatziki, french fries, lettuce, and tomato. Even better, this sandwich came with a side of fries as well. Everything about this sandwich was absolutely wonderful, gyro meat tends to be a little dry but this wasn’t at all. And when I thought the yee-ro was a little light on tzatziki sauce, I ordered a little bit more without a problem. Everything at Brusco is $ 10 and under and comes with fries, the sandwiches are delicious and filling making this a great deal for lunch and an awesome spot to keep in mind for lunches. Unfortunately, they are not open for dinner so I’ll have to get my Brusco fix daily before 5pm.

Super dank sandwich, I had the gyro. Friendly staff, very reasonably priced. Gonna be a staple of harbor east for sure.

Very fast service and great food and ingredients. Great price point including sandwich, fries and a drink. Will definitely be back to try the many items on the menu. Wondering if they are open earlier given that they have a breakfast sandwich on the menu.

The cutest little luncheonette you ever did see! Brusco is connected to Cava Mezze’s storefront and has it’s own entrance but is connected via the dining section to the main restaurant in case you wanted to stroll over to the Cava side for a drink or to just signify. They’ve been for a week and so far the customer service is great! Which is surprising because it’s mostly a staff of very young adults. I was told the menu for Brusco is going to change weekly! This is great for someone like me who loves variety, especially because there was only one option out of the sandwich offerings for the week that was veg friendly. I had The«Y» pita with ground chickpeas, salad, hummus and arugula. I requested the olive relish from another sandwich to be added so if both items are available when you go, feel free to follow my lead on this– it took the sandwich to new heights! The chickpeas themselves were shaped into balls but not completely blended as you would expect in your run of the mill falafel. There were whole peas included in the falafel balls with the blended mix and somehow it came together for a satisfying taste and texture feel. The sandwiches ranged from $ 7 – 10 but they also came with fries which is more than I can say for those thieving Jimmy Johnians next door. In fact, I saw a coldcut being prepared here at Brusco that was nearly triple the size volume of meat for only $ 10(The Luise sandwich), and again, fries are included! I found them to be greasy… but still, FREE! There’s a small eating section immediately in the ordering section but Brusco kind of gives you the grab a bite for carryout and go feel, but in a subtle friendly way. I can’t wait to see next week’s menu offerings!
