Have been a patient here for 7 years. The new facility is amazing! My provider is Jill Crank, who is absolutely fantastic. I know another reviewer mentioned turnover, which may be the case, but I can only speak from my experience and Jill has been my provider the entire time I have been a patient. The reception staff can be hit or miss, for sure, but it has never been anything unbearable. The mission, facility, and Jill all make up for any small front desk annoyances!

Let’s assess the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good: (1) Chase Brexton has been known as a leader in HIV Treatment. (2) Very nice lookin facility(Have you seen the sparkly floors??? Beautiful!) (3) The doctors, nurses, and security guards, etc(basically all the professionals) are very friendly, helpful, and just all around great people to be around. They’re very personable which is always a plus. (4) There is good transgender care if you need it. (5) Gender inclusive/neutral bathrooms that are CLEAN. (6) Some floors play this very calm music that makes you feel like you’re at a spa. (7) It includes medical, behavioral, and dental service. Along with a nice little organization called Free State Legal. So it’s a one stop shop! Now on to the bad. The bad: The receptionists/supporting staff are extremely rude, lazy, condescending, ignorant, and just plain nasty people. There is only two types of receptionists there; the one that hates their job, and the one who doesn’t take their job serious at all. I was standing in line to check in and when it was finally my turn one of the staff approached the receptionist that was supposed to check me in started having a 6 minute long conversation with the guy behind the counter. How do I know it was 6 minutes? Simple, I timed it, because it took 6 minutes for another receptionist to come assist me. Oh and it didn’t end there. This receptionist was equally as rude. I tried to explain my situation to her(my doctor left, and I had to find another), but she kept interrupting me. All she kept saying is «What are you trying to say?» It was clear what I was telling her. It was a really simple request. Asked as if she didn’t know English; BASICENGLISH. Ended up asking for a nurse(who knew what she was doing), so I could get assistance from someone who was actually competent; my conversation with the nurse only lasted a minute or so. She knew exactly what I was saying from my first sentence. So my advice to you is to just ask to speak with nurse until they get some more competent receptionist who know how to do their job, or just avoid the 3rd and 4th floor period. The ugly: Apparently doctors don’t really last at Chase Brexton. Not sure why, but I’ve had 2 doctors in the past 4 – 5 months, now moving on to my 3rd; hopefully this one sticks around. Also I wouldn’t go there for dental. A friend of mine went in for a routine visit(cleaning), and left with a crack tooth. Not good; not good at all.
