CJs Appliances

I have dealt with Cj’s Appliances since their inception 3 years ago. I stopped dealing with the previous business/​owner CC BEST because their service and products were very poor. Many people confuse Cj’s Appliances with CC BEST due to the location being the same. In 2014 a new owner rebranded and re staffed the business as Cj’s Appliances and they have regained me as a customer ever since. I’ve bought products with them for my entire kitchen and recently bought appliances for my laundry room. I purchased a side by side black Kenmore refrigerator with an icemaker for $ 275 when they are going for $ 600 brand new, a stainless gas stove, five burner for $ 475 in great condition ($ 800 brand new) and a stainless dishwasher for $ 125. I had my kitchen set delivered the day after I purchased and the delivery guys were very professional. They do not hook up ice makers or dishwashers but my husband is familiar with installation so that was no problem for me. I have had my kitchen set for two years now with no problems. During their 2015 black Friday sale I bought a front load bosh washer and dryer matching set for only $ 400 ($ 1200 brand new) but decided to pick the units up rather than have them delivered so I could have them same day. We had a problem with the washer not letting out hot water .Cj’s sent their technician to our house the next day (after i paid $ 65 for them to come out because my units were not delivered) and turns out my husband had connected the hoses backwards. Once they reconnected the unit I have not had a problem since. My main advice with this business is beware of false reviews. I was hesitant to go back after many reviews were bad but after going I was made aware that reviews were related to CC BEST. a problem unavoidable due to location. Ech time I have purchased my experience was great. I took the time to write this review because they have always went out of their way for me. I even recommended them to family members who haven’t had problems either. Give them a chance, you won’t regret it. I never did.

I’ve had to deal with CJ’s twice, as our landlord is responsible for maintaining the appliances in my house. Last year we received a used washer-​drier from them and it needed servicing withing the first week of use. They had to come out twice more to repair it after that in the next two months. I recently received a fridge from them and again, it did not work properly (not cold enough). They came out and «fixed it» but it still does not work properly (same issue) and I am now waiting on their 2^nd repair outing. I don’t know if they test any of their products before selling them but we are not 0 for 2 on getting them to work properly. I give them an extra star because they are good about coming out and fixing what should already work from the beginning. Again, these purchases were not up to us, but I guess you get what you (or your landlord) pay for.

Got a glass top slide in range from them for real cheap, in excellent condition. This range would have been at least $ 800 used.

The prices are low! We picked up a fridge ($ 1500 new at lowes) for 450. It has a few scratches, but in good shape. When we inquired about buying a range/​microwave, they said they could sell us one, but that for $ 40 more we could get a new one. They seem pretty honest!
