DG Alteration

This place is great. I have driven by many times but never thought to go in. I found it here in Unilocal when i had a coat that needed altering. I brought it at tue end of the day on Friday and my coat was finished first thing on Saturday! The altering was very professional and reasonable. I will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I have been dealing with Dmitry for over a year now, and he is very professional and quick. For all of your alterations needs he is truly the best.

Amazing work and professionalism!!! I had an evening dress made of very delicate material (Lace)…not only was he abbot to cut & hem it for me, he was able to place darts x2 to give it a more precise fit. It was ready the next day but could’ve been completed the same day. This ship is awesome! If you ever need anything altered you can’t go wrong with this shop!!!

Excellent service and professionalism in every way. Altered a sport coat made of very difficult fabric as well as lined in satin. The workmanship was so superior you could not tell anything had been done except for the fact the fit was perfect. The item was delivered on time and at a very reasonable price. DG Alterations is worth the drive!

I came to DG Alterations for a bridesmaid dress, two pencils skirts, and a blazers. He did an amazing job on all of my clothes and I’m so pleased with results. The prices are fair too! I plan to return with more items to tailor.

It cost $ 20 to make a pocket square. In my opinion, this was pricey, considering that you can get a couple of them for the same price at Macy’s, and we supplied the fabric. The fabric was cotton, not something difficult to work with.
My husband also tried to get a dress shirt taken in here, but Dmitriy said the shirt was fine the way it was… I suppose this is true if you want a more conservative, corporate America fit, but my husband didn’t want that, especially for our wedding. He’d already gotten his suit altered to fit, and the dress shirt was too big in comparison, bunching /​ballooning a bit in the chest. This is by no means a criticism of Dimitriy — I would much rather that a tailor tell me that he/​she cannot do a given alteration, rather than mess it up. I am simply pointing out that his services may be better suited to certain styles than others. For more typical alterations, I may take my husband’s clothes here. For the slimmer fits (more European than corporate America), we may look elsewhere.

Dmitriy always does a magnificent job on my alterations. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

I urgently needed a suit altered on a Sunday and DG Alteration was so fast, they were able to do the jacket and pants while I waited! Excellent service!
