Different Regard

A must visit if you are into one-​of-​a-​kind menswear and custom tailoring.
I was in town for a 3 day convention at the expo center and had decided ahead of time that I was going to explore the area for unique men’s fashion. I had selected 3 places from a Unilocal search and Different Regard was first on the list — mainly because it was closest to the Hilton and easy to get to and fro.
I never made it to the other places. It began and ended here. You will get what you pay for with these two aspiring gentlemen. They have created a fantastic boutique demonstrating talent and creativity. It is a unique place with a different regard for the new men’s look — fashionable, hip yet traditional and touching conservative depending on what item you’re looking at.
They have an excellent portfolio of swatches as part of their custom tailoring service. There may not be a large customer base in Baltimore for this however it will benefit with more growth and development.
Their prices are reflective of fabrics and style. It isn’t cheap but it is real and personal. I will certainly return and intend to test their bespoke skills.

We were looking for something different for my husband for an upcoming Divine Hearts, Inc. Fundraising Gala. We wanted something different, edgy and sophisticated. This was the place! From the moment you walk in the place oozes style. Steven, one of the owners was awesome and truly knew fashion. My husband wasnso happy to find a men’s boutique. From the original style, custom designs, Different Regard has it right. For the guy that loves and appreciates fashion, these gentlemen are on point. Ladies take your man here, you both will be happy.

So far, so great! Different Regard is right! Everything here is from the mind’s eye of a talented, fashion-​forward designer duo. Style is oozing from the set up of the store to (most importantly) the clothes on the tables and along the wall. I recently popped in to buy my hubby a bow-​tie as part of his Valentine’s Day presents and, while the selection wasn’t huge (they expected more in a week or so), the ones they had were great and eclectic. I settled on a brown, denim bow-​tie so that he would be able to dress it up or down with ease. A few shirts hurt my feelings with the price tag, but you could tell it was a reflection of the quality and originality of the designs, so I couldn’t be mad. There were also several hats that made me want to come up out my pocket and get something for myself instead, but I had to stay focused on the task at hand. Nothing here is cheap, but you have to remember you are paying for the unique, one-​of-​a-​kind nature of everything you are buying here… if not one-​of-​a-​kind, then at least one-​of-​a-​handful. Love having such a great men’s boutique to shop for my man. Soooooooo needed in Baltimore. Keep up the good work, Different Regard!

This place has really fashion forward styles that are not to far out. Since they design their own clothing what you buy here can’t be found any where else. I like the quality of their garment; the colors never seem to fade nor do the garments shrink or tear. Also, the feel and fit is just perfect on me. Some of the best clothes I own. It is definitely up there with my Hugo Boss suits and Thomas Pink shirts and ties.
