This is a two-time-in-one place, first and last. They think that barbeque is throwing barbeque sauce on everything. I lived much of my life down south and this stuff is not real barbeque. I had a burger with pulled beef. The food was disgusting. When I used the restroom, I noticed urine all around the urinals and trails of urine leading from the urinals to the dining room. I will never eat there again.

If you are looking for a hardy and robust meeting meal dougies is the place to go. I am never let down by the sheer amount of outstanding beef and deep fried options offered here as well as healthy veggie options vary authentic Southern style cuisine with sauces to match sometimes I just want a nice juicy burger or some pulled beef I therefore go two Dougie’s to get pulled beef and I order it and they bring it to me and when they bring it to me I consume it with a lot of vigor and this is a very pleasurable experience for me since the food tastes really great and it really lights up my taste buds in multiple dimensions and enables me to really recognize the culinary excellence that permeates the culture at dougies

This place delivers exactly what they advertise I usually order the excellent chili and a side. The staff are gracious and try to please which is exactly what a restaurant service is supposed to be two thumbs up!

Food is great if you like meat. They have great singing customer service too. I suggest the jalapeño poppers and Mexican burger.

Just about the best kosher meat restaurant. Extensive menu. Everything is delicious and in huge portions. Very friendly staff in a clean and open setting. Comparatively low prices and high value. I always take most home for a second meal. Make sue to make reservations especially on Thursday nights

First time visitor, and I was so excited to try based in the smell of delicious food permeating the parking deck. My takeaways from the experience follow: 1) parking deck is only good for small vehicles — tight corners make this no bueno for larger vehicles 2) front desk was very helpful, seated us with the rest of our party right away 3) tortilla chips and spicy salsa were brought with menus and water — nice except there were 6 of us and even with that small of a party the chips never got to our end of the table 4) our waiter, Av, was wonderful and patient. Totally ok when my husband asked if they were pork or beef ribs(kosher restaurant so no pork) 5) one of our party had an issue with the timing on the food being brought out. 5⁄6 meals brought together, and the party member who had chosen Dougie’s for dinner got her sandwich about 5 minutes later. Her husband asked to speak with the manager who should have been polite. He was not. He was rude, argumentative, and turned what could have been easy customer service into a «we’re never coming back here.» So we are never coming back. 6) beef ribs were overcooked and dry 7) dark meat chicken delicious — white meat chicken was like eating the Sahara 8) the birthday singer was incredible.

I was just in Baltimore the other day and stopped by Dougie’s for dinner. The last time I was here they had recently opened, and I recall not being impressed with the food. Fortunately, this time around things were(mostly) better, and we had a really enjoyable meal. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap with coleslaw which was delicious and not too messy. The service was a little spotty, but it was a busy Sunday night, so that’s probably to be expected. Atmosphere is noisy, but nice and generally clean. Overall I would come back here again next time I come into town.

i was very happy as i walked in there to see such a great looking restaurant, kosher is always a plus. the combo platters i thought was the best thing on the menu… i ordered the ribs and well they weren’t that great. luckily the service was impeccable and were very helpful and that made all the difference. i will def go back there again to order that chicken combo platter it looks amazing and the taste was perfect… also the egg rolls i hear were good and so was the pretzel chicken.

My friends and I ordered carry-out from here twice during the football season. Aside from a major screw-up on the second order(Super Bowl Sunday), the food was middle of the road. The sliders and wings were pretty good. I’ve been here once to sit down and the food was pretty bland. Almost everything on the menu is battered and deep fried and unfortunately has the same taste. A number of the items are super spicy, so have a bucket of water near by. Could definitely be executed better.

We are not kashrut observant, but went to this establishment with our friends who are. The service was awful, due to a large birthday party adjacent to our table for 4. All of us ordered the barbecued brisket which comes with one side. The portion size was average, not huge. The menu is unclear what sides are included with which sandwiches. Also, they charge extra for«special bread». I grew up in Texas and I know what REAL barbecue brisket tastes like. These sandwiches were«meat with barbecue sauce». The restroom was filthy and I should call the health inspector about it, but I will not do so. Bottom line, for kashrut observant Jewish people, I am certain that this restaurant meets their standards. I am certain that they will enjoy Dougie’s. For people like me, expect to put up with the«we have a captive audience» attitude of spotty service and inadequate food at high prices.(Also, my experience at Goldberg’s bagels down the street from Dougie’s did get five stars… so I am not being critical of all Kosher establishments).

Dougie’s opened with a very nice menu and a delicious food. I am an owner of a restaurant in Baltimore and I know that people expect quality and fast, good service. This happened for our family when we went to Dougie’s on its second day of being opened. The parking is questionable and the room was a little cool but the food was great and the service was excellent. Good work from the Bagel Man.
