Econo Lodge Near Pimlico Racetrack

reviews here are a little bit unfair. This hotel was incredibly cheap! I got it for around $ 70 bucks one night on a weekend and the bed was very big and comfortable.
the hotel was not exactly the newest hotel but everything was kept very clean
breakfast selection was limited but good none the less
I would stay here again

I was surprised how good this hotel was for the price the free breakfast in the morning was good with a waffle maker too. I took my family to the aquarium and to the science center in Baltimore. This hotel is conveniently located

I wish someone would write reviews for hotels, when I’m out of state an have no clue about the area. I will say this. NEVER stay here if u can avoid it please try a hotel in downtown Baltimore.

Cheap hotel closer than where I was for Otakon. It’s obviously one where a family owns it and they maintain it themselves. The guy was asleep at the window when I came to check in late at night. It could stand to be cleaner because there were some dead bugs under the pull out mattress and the sheets on both beds looked like they’d been there for as long as the building. The bathroom was pretty nice though and updated. It was a basic room with a fridge, microwave, tv & desk. I’m thinking it was probably the best room they offer though because as I walked by other rooms to check out I didn’t see that. I did see some sketchy looking folks around but it’s Baltimore and there’s always one of those so whatever. Point is, I slept well, it was quiet, and nobody died. This is definitely not a «nice» hotel and if you expect more than just a place to sleep you’re going to be pretty disappointed. I rate ³⁄₅ since that’s all I was looking for. The –2 is for «clean the place better».

Basic motel-​like inn that has the mere basics. It is in a slightly sketchy part of Baltimore near the Pimlico race course. It is very close to the Roger Avenue Metro station (10 minutes walk). If living cheap and wanting good access to metro then this is your hotel. I’ve not come across any cheaper hotels in Baltimore.
