The menu is totally different than the one on the website. Steak sandwich came cold. Steak fajitas barely had any meat. Seasoned fries listed on menu came unseasoned.

If you have to stay at Holiday Inn this place is convenient to grab a night cap or down a few quick ones at the bar. One caveat is that you have to sit at the bar coz table service is pretty much non existent. There’s an arrogant Fcuk named Al who will actually tell you that you need to come to him to be served! Really?! Now this is what I call great holiday inn training. Drinks aren’t cheap and their prices certainly don’t match the surroundings but like I said its a place to grab quick ones, that is if you can get served. I ate here one night at the bar and Al was on again. I ordered a crab cake sandwich and had to beg for ketchup from self important Al. The sandwich was horrible, Al was worse!

The fact I sat down and waited 15 minutes for even an acknowledgment at the bar would be reason to leave… and I did after 1 drink. As a IHG Platinum member and many visits to HI bars this was bad. Plus he got the drink wrong. $ 50 spent down at the Hyatt bar. I saw people that did get food and it was wrong. If this a contract restaurant then they should find another vendor.

This place has the potential to be great… the service is the worst. The waiter went outside and smoke and came back blazing like smoke. Water glasses was empty because he was smoking and he mix them up when he came back. how do I know? My glass has no lemon and he gave me one with lemon… just a ounce of service would have been better than what we had…

Food was excellent, started with chips for the kids and calamari. Took FOREVER for the food to come. Brought out kids’ food… 15 min later still no food for us. Finally it for here and was very good. Impressed by the food especially for a hotel. Even the price was good! It just took a long time and it wasn’t even crowded! I will say, however, that the staff was very attentive and nice. Good choice!

Bar– Average flat bread. Service lacking in the bar. Resteraunt– only had buffet for breakfast. Average tasting food, servers were nice.

Delicious food, friendly, accommodating staff. I would’ve given a 5 star if they were able to keep up with the breakfast buffet. They were out of bowls, eggs and fruit for quite awhile. Otherwise very good!

I agree with most of what Chef W. said. I was impressed with the quality of this hotel restaurant. Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Ate here twice during my last stay because the weather was too horrible to venture out: First time I ate at the bar & had the«make your own» flatbread. Got grilled chicken, onions, & peppers(see pic!). Pretty good. Definitely a lot of food. My only suggestion would have been that it stay in the oven a little longer. It was a little … floppy & not crispy enough. Second time I ordered food to-go to bring back up to my room. I got a grilled chicken caesar wrap with their homemade chips. Also got a slice of the carrot cake. Liked the wrap, wasn’t too impressed with the chips or the carrot cake. I think they have good happy hour specials. Will return for that, or if it’s late /the weather is bad and I don’t want to leave the hotel.

You all might look at my location and most of my reviews and say, «Psh! Some country bumpkin who doesn’t know any better thinks a hotel restaurant is awesome.» And you might be partly right, but only if we’re referring to the part where the hotel restaurant is awesome. And maybe the country bumpkin part. But that’s another story. In the mean time, I’ll just cite my culinary degree from Johnson and Wales University and hope that’s enough to at least get you to consider this neat little joint. As you might have read in the reviews for the Holiday Inn-Inner Harbor, Eden West has a great bar in it. I didn’t visit the bar, though. I was hungry. For food. The solid kind. I was staying at the hotel and my first night, Unilocal told me there weren’t any restaurants anywhere super close with anything higher than a three-star rating. I always Unilocal first(hence the disproportionate number of five-star reviews I have), so I figured I couldn’t go too much more horribly wrong if I just went downstairs and ate in the hotel restaurant. I checked out the menu and was pleasantly surprised. Grilled salmon BLT? Crab cake sandwich on brioche? Plus, right in my hotel. This is right by the convention center, y’all, and priced incredibly well, plus a nice-looking menu to boot? Sold. I was seated politely and promptly. The lighting was comfortably low, and all the tables were set with wine glasses, cloth napkins, and very contemporary silverware. Impressed so far. Seated. Get a menu. More impressed. Meet my waitress right away, who is adorable and attentive. Brought me water right away. I only threw her for a loop when I ordered the crab cake sandwich and she asked if I wanted fries or chips. I asked if they were English chips, and got an, «Um?» Easy to fix. «Crispy, or not crispy?» «Crispy.» «Fries, please.» Easy peasy. In the mean time, I ordered a grapefruit juice. They had a good wine and beer selection, plus Coke products and a huge selection of juices. My juice came out fast and really cold. No ice, and that’s how I like my juice. Food came right out. Crab cake on the sandwich is hot, fresh, incredibly good. Remoulade is just-there: not overwhelming or mushy, just complementary. The brioche bun IS A REALBRIOCHEBUN. Tender, moist, buttery, toasted to perfection, just the right thickness and sliced proportionately. Served with lettuce and tomatoes and a deli pickle. The fries were super crisp on the outside, super fluffy on the inside, and stayed that way my whole meal. Wow. Win. I’m not even a French fry fan and I ate almost all of them. I ate the whole sandwich. Both tomato slices. The lettuce. The pickle. I really can’t think of anywhere stars need to be taken off. The ambiance was cozy, clean, and contemporary. The prices were great. The carpet might have been a little hotel-y? Honestly, no need to deduct anything from anywhere. It was a delightful meal in every way. I do not remember the last time I cleaned my plate at a restaurant. Perfectly portioned, wonderfully done. At a hotel restaurant. Who’d’ve thought?
