Best prices I have seen around! I’ve now been there twice and both times the employees were friendly and helpful. I love the high powered beds since I only have to tan for 10 minutes to get a glow!

Best prices I’ve seen around the area. All beds are discounted at 50% off Monday-Friday 11−2p, and all beds are $ 5 on Sundays. I came here for the first time and did a 15 minute session on the regular bed. The salon was clean and sanitary. I would suggest using a super bed that is stand up. I ended up with a weird line shaped like a box around my butt. The employee told me it could be a pressure point from lying down, but a) I’m not that big to have skin flap over itself, and b) it’s literally a box around my butt. A BOX. Other than being less than satisfied with the regular bed, I do like the prices and cleanliness here. …pressure point my ass.

Let me preface this by stating that I’m not a huge tanner: my opinion is based on the dozen or so times I went this past spring/summer to jump-start, and then maintain, my glow. Reading these other reviews, I can’t deny the fact that the receptionists have been a bit on the sour side thus far. It’s true: not the kind of girls you’d invite out for a drink. However, Electric Rays is consistently clean, the turbo-beds deliver an effective dose of color without burning you to a crisp(I haven’t used the regulars), and best of all, if you go before 2PM(I like to go on my lunch break), they have an Early Bird Special: 50% any bed. This means you can get the turbo beds for around $ 7 a pop. Now that, Dear Reader, is one hell of a deal, judging that turbos typically go for around $ 12-$ 17 per session. Overall, it’s a decent tanning salon. For me, the special makes it well worth the visit. Just don’t go in looking to make friends.

This place is the only spot I’ve found that’s close to me. I’ve been coming here since I moved and there is one employee that works there that is consistently unpleasant. She just is not friendly at all and twice has gotten a slight attitude with me when I asked a question. Anyway. The salon itself is nice, clean and the prices are decent. It would have given more stars if the staff was more friendly.

This tanning salon is great! The staff is friendly and professional, the beds are good and I like that they carry different beds on the same level so you can switch it up without having to upgrade. The atmosphere is great and they have a good lotion selection. Best of all is that before 2, you can tan for half-price! So if you work in the area like me, there’s nowhere better to go.

This is the only place I could find with in walking distance of the marina I am staying in. The girl at the counter had pretty much no idea if the bulbs were strong, how long I should go in for, what lotion was better than another. She didnt really know anything. I went into a bed for 15MINUTES which is kind of a lot for a 1st timer in a tanning bed who hasn’t seen sun in over a month and a half. The bed did absolutely NOTHING. AND(!!!) get this, you have to BUY the goggles! Doesn’t every place either have some waiting for you in the room or on the desk in a sanitizer bucket? Unfortunately, since this is my only option for sun, I will go back ONE more time, but I wont do the 20 min bed, I will do the higher power bed(10 min) and i will do the full time. If you have a car, look elsewhere for some rays.
