The building is riddled with homeless people renting out storage units, presumably because a shelter is around the corner. Many homeless stay for hours and overnight. While I definitely feel sorry for them, I most certainly object to having to worry about my personal belongings after paying money to store my goods there. Also, the first manager there had a girl there all the time. She was always scantily dressed. I got word from the newest manager that he had gotten fired for various reasons, which is something that Rich had engineered, more than likely. My female acquaintance had always been terrified to accompany me there, given that the building is dingy, the elevator looks like it will collapse at any moment, and there were squatters present. The rent there is cheap, but the reasons for it are abundantly clear. When I decided to move my items to a cleaner, safer storage facility, Rich decided to charge me for a full month’s rent on the DAY I HADMOVEDOUT. RICHCHARGEDONEMONTHINSTEADOFPRO-RATINGFORONEDAY. I had moved out on a Saturday, which was April 2nd. I needed to do it on this day because April 1st had been on a Friday. Instead of charging for only one day like Public Storage, he had the nerve to charge for 30 days. Rich was a total jerk. He had kissed my ass when I would stop by, but instantly became greedy when he realized I would no longer be a customer. Worst part: the fact that he knows I am a veteran and will ultimately be leaving Baltimore after getting out of the military. DON’T WASTEYOURMONEYHERE. THEYAREDISHONORABLE, and the facilities are TRASH anyway.
