I like Good Sam. My grandfather was well taken care of by the nursing staff during his final days, and I also had to stop by myself to receive stitches for a busted lip. I was in and out the door in less than an hour and my doctor was amazing.

After reading the other review, I felt the need to share my experiences with both Dr. Valaik and Dr. Lemma. Dr. Valaik is the kindest, warmest ortho surgeon I have ever met. He is one of the most compassionate doctors I have seen, and I have been to many, many of them! Dr. Lemma is also kind and very patient. He has spent much time with me, answering question after question until I understood everything. So they are not all bad…

I’m calling shenanigans on this place. I’ve had neck pain and arm numbness for over a year so my family doc sent me for a MRI. MRI report said my spine was all jacked up(direct quote). The doc suggested two places, Good Sam Spine Center or Towson ortho. I try Good Sam first. I leave a message on the secretary’s voice mail and she calls me back, 2 days later. She spends over 20 minutes asking me about insurance, who I saw for my neck in the past, blahblahblah. She then says she will forward this to the specialist and call me back. 1WEEKLATER, she calls back, saying what the specialist recommends. HEDOESNOTWANTTOSEEME and his recommendations are worthless. Are you kidding me? These quacks actually pick-and-choose their patients? My family doc said that some specialists only want the patient’s with problems that will pay big money(meaning, needing surgery). I call Towson ortho and, 1 week later, I saw Dr. Fedder. Super cool guy and down to earth about treatment options. The point here is(a) My spine needed treatment due to the numbness/tingling in my arms and(b) Dr. Fedder does not pick-and-choose. Good Samaritan, you are anything but. Change your name STAT.
