They are a lil bit pricey here compared to the other food places in the casino. The staff is friendly here. Also the portion sizes are not bad. But for the amount of money you pay for a sandwich like $ 11. U except a good amount of meat and for it to be juicy not dry. The meat tasted a lil dry even with extra bbq sauce on it. Also the Mac n cheese was not even warm.

It’s right inside the horseshoe casino! The parking at the casino is free so it is worth a stop if you are in the casino! The place is a carry out but there is plenty of seating outside the carry out restaurant. The seating is in the casino area. I do have to mention that you have to add an extra dollar to each item if you are not a casino member. I ordered the pork butt platter. The pork is juicy and moist. The pork is so soft and tender. It’s surrounded by the fatty oil from the pork and the oil actually makes the pork that much more soft. The pork is served on a French piece of toast bread. The platter comes with two sides. I went with the beans and the coleslaw. I also tried the greens. The beans were my favorite. They also offer three different bbq sauces. And all three of them are bomb. My favorite bbq sauce was the sriracha based bbq sauce.

If one bad Guy Fieri restaurant at the«Shoe» wasn’t bad enough they went and opened another! If this«Guy» guy isn’t careful he’s going to ruin what I presume is a decent franchise name. Both restaurants here are awful but since we’re talking BBQ I’ll stick to this one. I had the pulled pork butt sandwich, and it taste like it was pulled from the inside the butt as opposed to the rump section. Two decent sauces did bupkis for the sandwich. The meat did nothing to stand on its own without the sauce and laid greasily in its«juices» when pulled from the pan. I didn’t trust the restaurant and rightly so, so I didn’t invest in a platter with sides. Losing at the blackjack tables never tasted soooo good as compared to this place. A 2nd loser in the Guy franchise of restaurants. Eating here is like doubling down on an 11 only to get an Ace! Does you absolutely no good! I’d given the choice of whether to hit 17 against the dealers 10 with the 12 bucks I paid to eat a sandwich, chips and a drink here, I could say at least there’s a chance of not busting! Money spent here is better offered to“Big Pauly” as tribute. Stay clear of this place, and eat at the pizza #Pizetta next door.

This is by far my least favorite food establishment inside of the Horseshoe Casino. I only wish I had visited Unilocal before trying it out. My service experience was good, but I wonder if Guy Fieri has actually tasted any of this food. I bought the pulled pork butt platter with cornbread & potato salad. The sides were average and the pork was comprised of about 50% burnt(not bark) pork. and when I say burnt, I mean, can’t even chew through it. In hindsight, I should have brought this to the attention of the staff, but I honestly just wanted to move along. I should have just walked across the food court and grabbed a Burger at Heavy Seas.

I came here during a recent outing at Jazzy Summer Nights. With this BBQ Joints location being in a food court, I didn’t expect fresh made food. I knew that whatever they offered would probably be cafeteria style. Having said that, the pulled pork butt was tender, savory and deelish. I also dined on the greens which were passable. For about 10 – 11 bucks, the pricing was not bad for a casino. I will say the guy serving the food was a bit disputatious. I ordered with the cashier and let her know my order was to go. Apparently she didn’t notate this on the order. I was given my food not prepped to go. When I mentioned this to the older gentleman he wanted to argue down about how I didn’t ask for it to go via the cashier. It wasn’t my fault that the cashier was rushing and overlooked it. *shrugs* I’d return again but, I’d make sure my order was taken properly just to avoid old dude and his crotchety attitude. ps. love the sauce bar complete with 4 choices in bbq sauce.

Despite the negative Unilocal reviews, I was enticed by the smell of BBQ inside Horseshoe Casino so I decided to take a chance anyway. +1 star for accepting my comp dollars, so at least I didn’t really pay for the meal with my own money. All of the food is already out on display and it doesn’t come fresh out of the kitchen… that should’ve been a warning sign already. I went with the Championship Pork Butt(#1 on the menu) platter with a side of mac’n’cheese and potato salad. The pork came on top of Texas toast. The meat was tender but wasn’t really«pulled,» because I had to cut it up even more to chew it. Both of my sides had absolutely no flavor to it. It was unsatisfying and I threw away the rest of the meal. …A few hours later, I ended up getting sick from the whole meal. No bueno.

Your staff needs personalities, they appeared unhappy, I only ordered 2 sides of collards, they put it on the counter and never announced. Please add Pit Turkey!

Tried this spot after the a Kevin Hart concert. The fact that all the other eateries had long lines should have been a clue but we like BarBQ. The pulled pork wasn’t bad a little dry so you’ll need to add plenty of sauce. It was really the sides that killed the meal. The mac & cheese was dried out and tasted like rubber. The potato salad was just nasty. The potatoes were undercooked and weren’t seasoned well at all. The coleslaw had no flavor. Paying $ 30 for two meals & drinks isn’t cool when the food tastes so bad.

The cashier who took our order was very sweet – That’s about where the experience peaked. The young man practically slung our food to the counter. Not a «thank you» or «please enjoy» was to be had. As I sat down I realized I was given the wrong side. Instead of an apology, it was snatched away from my hand and tossed abruptly to the trash and almost immediately appeared a preprepared ramekin filled with collard greens. The pork was bearable if it was slathered in copious amounts of sauce. The Texas toasted was so lightly toasted it was if they just showed it the toaster and expected something to happen. The potato salad was watery(how that happens, who knows?). The only highlight were the collard greens – they were very tasty. So I’m done with this place. You only get one chance to make a first impression. The only reason they made it to two stars was the delightful cashier.

This is a new addition to the casino food court following the closure of the Mallow Bar. I’ve passed by it a few times shortly after it opened and the food always smells inviting. My coworker and I finally tried it the other day and were beyond unimpressed. We both tried the pulled chicken platter which was not especially appetizing. The chicken was atop a piece of toast and wasn’t especially tasty. The food which was ready almost instantaneously, didn’t taste particularly fresh and our sides were also mediocre, served in small plastic serving cups. My cornbread side was tolerable, but otherwise the macaroni and cheese was not very fresh and probably worse than the frozen mac and cheese you can order at Panera. My coworker who got the potato salad side as his second side said it was the worst he’d ever had. Other than that the place had an okay set up and it was nice that you could choose from a selection of sauces for your meat, but besides that, Guy’s didn’t have much going for it. Overall, I think this place has a good concept but they could definitely work on food quality, especially for the price of almost 14 or so dollars. Although this is a food court venue and we had appropriate expectations, I’d sooner go to any of the other food court options which offer better tasting fresher offerings. In the future I’d probably skip this joint and go elsewhere in the casino, or to Guy’s Kitchen and Bar which has better quality and service and is similar in price too.

(5÷10÷2015) Went to the Horseshoe for Mother’s Day(I swear, that’s where she wanted to go) and didn’t want to waste too much time and money at a sit-down place for lunch. Appreciate the lower rent version of Guy Fieri’s Baltimore Kitchen + Bar. Super basic menu built for make-ahead and cold-hold then nuke, just pulled pork, beef, or chicken. Pork was sufficiently shredded and tender, somewhat dry, Sweet Sriracha barbecue sauce helped to moisten(touch bitter). Baked beans had a peppery kick, cornbread was a commercially prepared individual loaf, rather dry, not sweet. For the high-rent location the price, $ 10.99 was fine. Neither impressed nor disappointed, sufficient.

It’s very nice that the very nice Horseshoe Casino has a very nice lower-cost food court as an alternative to all the high-end celebrity chef restaurants it promotes for its patrons to grab something to eat. It is also very nice when some of the celebrity chefs lend their names to some of the food court alternatives, so the patrons who play a bit more conservatively(and win like it) get a small taste of the high life of which they don’t normally partake. So Guy’s Bar-B-Que Joint is a welcome addition to the place(occupying the former space of the unfortunately misplaced Mallow Bar.) There aren’t a lot of choices on the menu, which is fine. Mostly pulled pork beef or chicken. You can get your order as a sandwich or as a platter with sides. We opted for the pulled beef with collard greens and baked beans. The pulled beef was tender and just as good as any pulled beef anywhere. The baked beans were a little al dente, which is fine, and had the Guy Fieri signature spicy kick. Same with the collard greens, but spicy and tasty does not make them amazing. There were choices of barbecue sauces to add on yourself, including a sriracha barbecue sauce, which was interesting, but with the onions and horseradish sauce that was already on the beef would have made it a trifle busy. For a plate of food, my wife and I agreed that this was… adequate. Guy Fieri is a consummate salesman, and arguably an equal restaurateur. This is not bad food, it is actually good, but I don’t think Guy Fieri is doing his brand any favors by moving into fast food.
