Haiku Frozen Yogurt

I come here with a group of classmates every week in the late evening (around 9pm). We usually will all be signing to each other.
The staff is always friendly an polite to us. At times we need to pull up an extra table an chairs, the staff do not fuss about it. They have even given us samples of sushi on the house! Such a nice thing to do! Of course we ordered some more.
The yogurt is pretty run-​of-​the-​mill. A variety of flavours and toppings. I am excited about them serving a variety of Asian toppings (moochi, jelly bits, bursting boba).
I have tried some of the Japanese food they serve, it’s good, nothing extra ordinary. The good is all pretty affordable.

This FroYo’ place is just about as good as it gets! I love this place it is a little off the beaten path but close enough to UMBC that the college kids can at times make crowds. We have been going to this place since it opened. The opening just so happen to coincide closely with the birth of my daughter. The woman that seems to run the place is almost always there and she has seen my daughter grow up. It is nice to be «known» some where now a days.
FroYo is FroYo, but the thing I like the most about this place is the fact that it still has that mom and pop feel. Kinda hard to explain but, that is just it.
Bottom line: We are in there all the time. I used to be in and drive past so much I was the longtime mayor of this spot in foursquare.

I go here with my boyfriend maybe once every week or two, and we enjoy it well enough. It’s similar to many frozen yogurt places where you seat yourself, serve yourself, choose toppings, and then pay by weight. Haiku seems a little bit more expensive than other froyo places we’ve been, but not by a large amount. It looks like a small, locally owned business, so that’s to be expected. The atmosphere is cute and casual, and the hours are nice (open until 11pm).
Haiku carries a decent variety of yogurt flavors that seems to be expanding. They also have a lot of toppings to choose from. Additionally, the yogurt flavors rotate around, which is nice.
My only gripe is that, on a few rare occasions, some of the flavors have tasted a bit «off,» as if the water used to make them was dirty or the machinery wasn’t well cleaned-​out beforehand. The taro flavor was also a bit weaker and less sweet than at other places, which was disappointing (and I don’t like my yogurt cloyingly sweet).
The location is convenient, and the staff is friendly. They serve a few limited «real food» options as well, in case you’re hungry for dinner or lunch. While not the best froyo place of all time, it’s still tasty and provides a laid-​back atmosphere for a quick, convenient dessert fix.

I dropped this from 4 stars because the place is very inconsistent, or has declined. The people that worked there when I first started going haven’t been around the last few times, and the food is greasy and not all that appealing.
Former review: Count me as very pleased that this place is now serving Japanese food as well as fro yo. Had the Steak & shrimp teriyaki today – pretty good. I could become a regular.

I needed a quick dinner for my boyfriend and me. We were sick of fast food and chinese, so I thought I would try here. I loved it! The food was prepared to order and I got some yogurt to go. Overall, both the food and yogurt were delicious.

Skip this place and hit up Sweet Frog on Route 40 instead. Great idea, but I prefer soft serve ice cream to yogurt. Cool, high top tables and a nice kids table area. They just started to serve Japanese food too.

The frozen yogurt here is build your own style and they measure it by size.

I got original tart and cheesecake flavor, with mango for my topping (really tasty!).
Chicken teriyaki with noodles also was really good and fresh too.

Yummy frozen yogurt varieties that change regularly! The décor is neat inside AND they have free Wifi — only minus really is that it’s in an ugly strip mall.

Banging froyo especially the green tea flavor! Also they have a great selection of Asian approved toppings including mochi, grass jelly, sponge cake, etc Me likes!!!

I may actually be getting tired of frozen yogurt. The froyo here was okay, nothing too special. They have the same flavors as the next place, except for the tiramisu flavor. The froyo was a bit too icy for my liking. The original didn’t stand out as much as the original flavor does at other places, not too tangy.
The topping selection is nice with a variety of fresh fruit. They have the run-​of-​the-​mill toppings.

I love Haiku Frozen Yogurt! They have great flavors, and because it’s by weight, you can get as much or as little as you like, and only pay for what you want.

Awesome little spot near Catonsville. Good number of flavors, tastes like real frozen yogurt and not overly sweet like some other places. Toppings selection is decent too. I had been looking forward to trying out the green tea froyo but they didn’t have it in rotation when I went. I’ll definitely go back again.

The flavors are delicious and the consistency of the fro yo is thick and GOOD. They are very nice, we had our finished and empty bowls on our table and they walked over to throw it away for us. The only problem would be for credit card users, they only accept cash. WiFi connection isn’t the best. And they don’t have fruity pebbles!
